@scarhead88 ok so the first 1 the secret cow level is easy u must have killed baal on the difuculty your playing then you goto the first town goto tristram take the woden leg from the dead guy forgot his name and you go back to town put the leg in the horadric cube with a tome of portals and merge it and bam the secret cow level and idk about the others im still kinda new to ES

I must ask, why the Raven's Shield? Your gear is good otherwise (though there's always room for improvement) with the 70's ring, a decent rumour and such... I can see the use for iron thimble and the wand too for defensive reasons, but there should be plenty of better shields? especially since you're farming cows you should get a lot of jewels with +skills.

@laddy333 Use fulminating potions until your character is level 2 or three. The monsters in Act I are a level or two above you and your hit rating is very low. So you can't hit anything unless you throw some fulminating potions at them for awhile. ;) Then you can start hitting things. If you notice yourself missing a lot, it either means you're not putting much effort towards your attack rating or you're too low of a level. So level, treasure hunt, whatever and come back later. ;)

I enjoyed Your video. For those who are curious about the "lost farm" area, I would not recommend You go there until Your character is atleast level 42 on normal level otherwise they will seriously kill You. Create a new character, stay on /players8 from start and go all the way up to Duriel, but don't kill him yet. It will take time and patience in act 1 and 2, but if you stay on /players8, you can reach level 42 or so in no time, then restart your game on /player1 and try lost farm.

Players 16 was in older versions and only available in the PC version. It was changed in newer versions so that the old players 16 is the new players 8, so that Mac and PC players can both have "max" players.

Diablo 2's multiplayer coding was poorly written. It was rushed to make the game debut deadline. That is why, even with godlike computer systems, you will STILL lag. It doesn't matter WHAT your computer specs are.

FYI, I had very nice PC when the game first came out, and now I have 3 high end quad core's.

You're not supposed to enter at that level, it's an endgame area. To get the amulet go to the entrance on the south side of the city and go through the door. Then look for a place named temple passage and proceed until you reach it. Come back to lost farm after you beat baal and you'll have a lot more success.

Kinda a crappy mod. They throw you out in a1 with 30-40% to hit most monster's and 95% for them to hit you. Games unbalanced, there's mobs of minions in the moore when ur lvl 1. How do theye xpect you to do anything. Median xl > this crap.

You did a nice job showing what you have. I can understand much of what's happening in-game. I also see that you've mastered the controls of the game, you practically blinking all over the dang place almost merely by will. By the way, dayum the enemies on this mod are dense. They should have told me ES has that much enemies, I love stacking corpse. >=9

Its only really dense in these special areas of the mod, like Lost farm which the sorc is running.

As a side note these special areas are quite hard unless you have good gear AND are at the right level

Some random comments: The raven's shield is an odd choice for a sorc, or any character for that matter. Is there a particular reason you chose it? Socket up that Raven's Badge with a Smiif Stone at some point. Other than that, you've rocked my best character so far, so I can't talk ;)

Honestly, I just haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. It's a decent shield with the +life (not that I need it), +1 skills, and resists. No alternatives have really stood out to me yet. I was going to make a Dodge shield at one point before I decided I didn't want that oskill. I still don't know what to replace it with so I've just been putting it off. I might look for a good rare (or jeweler's magic) shield with Slow Missiles, Decoy, or Blood Golem oskills.

Pure craziness! I just downloaded Eastern Sun today, and while I obviously haven't gotten this far in the mod, I know that surviving all that must have taken a lot of thought. Eastern Sun really ramped up the difficulty, at least at first...nearly died right outside the first town so many times.
