The gameboy has an 8-bit processor. Basically the only computers ever designed with 4-bit processors were pocket calculators. 8-bits was just about the lowest you could go and still have a functional game console, so all gameconsoles before the Turbografx 16 were actually 8-bit. There was no 4-bit era, and no handheld game systems ever used a 4-bit processor. Also, more bits = more computing power is fallacious. Xbox is 32-bit, but clearly more powerful than the N64.

And his voice is not the greatest voice anybody has ever heard in the world. But when Tom starts to sing, he captures the sort of exciting energy that can't be described in words, no matter how amazing it is. If you're still hung up on people just hitting the notes, you've got some learning to do.
