umm, you don't box a horse for 3 weeks because of a splint.....a splint is when a horse has knocked their leg and extra bone grew while it was healing, thats not worth boxing a horse for, even if its that bad...when Harry had one, the vet told us that they not worth boxing a horse for...poor horse, being boxed for nothing, standing in a stable for no reason...horible horible owner =/ poor poor horse =/

well your not a vet so you can stuff that up where the sun don't shine. My horse was kept on for 3 weeks because of the bad weather and to let his leg sort it self out. Further running around and knocking or twisting of the leg while the splint is forming word prolong the swelling there by making the splint larger. Google it love. POOR POOR PONY LOOKS SO SKINNY AND HARD DONE TO. He has £200 boots on there love yer poor horse

if you think a horse with a fresh splint coursed by running around should be turned out and not boxed rested in order for the splint bone to fuse, then you should not be aloud near a horse never mind owning one. Your vet should have his licence taken away from him and return to the dog house, he clearly knows nothing about the splint bone in a young horses leg. And as for another comment on how milliesos rides HAHAHA you are a joke.

do u know what your talking about? a splint can be that or when a tendon breaks and part of the bone splinters out and hardens in place. depending on how bad the splint is determines how long the horse is off work. who are u to say that this girl is a horrible owner just for laying her horse up for a good reason? she even said that the weather was bad. this horse obviously looks very happy and is well cared for. beautiful horse millie i wish i could go on the beach whenever i wanted! ur so lucky

yer he still has no heat or swelling and was never lame as far as i know because i have been away. He bolts around the field all the time. My vet said its from that and not a kickmor me riding him.

His other one is so flat now and that was big aswell but not as big as this. He has loads of feather so am not to worried about him in the show ring

god it made me feel sick and it was my right arm that always locks up and hurts.

He was right up in the air, as soon as i got on the prom i put the side reins on because if he cant get his head up he wont bolt so i was going to lead him home like that but me thinking he was nackerd i took them off and he again went stupid. Its safer and less scary being on him when he's rearing. He also kicks out at a car and then a man WITH BOTH BACK FEET. Love him loads still. I MISS YOU

in my opinion, he's not acting crazy. even for what you said about the road there. i think it's just pent up energy from being stalled up. he moves really nice :)

OK IF THATS what you think. Yes he has been in the stable for 3 weeks but he rears even in the summer when hes ridden every day and out 24 hours a day. He is also on a calmer called Magic.
