Always take the time to research the weather forecast for the day you are planning to go, especially if you are wanting to enjoy Kingda Ka. If it is prediciting a clear weather day...you are golden. If it is overcast with the possibility of rain, or too windy...Kingda Ka will more than likely not be running that day.

If you are not a season pass holder I would not go on Memorial Day Weekend when you can get a much better experience at the park later during the summer. If riding Bizarro on its opening weekend matters to you then go for it on Memorial Day Weekend. If it doesn't matter, definitely do not go. As for me, I will probably be there.

If you live somewhat close to the park, just get a season pass. I live an hour north of Great Adventure, so the season pass would be my preference. If a regular single-person Flash Pass was $34, that was the same as a tank of gas when gas was $3/gallon. That would get me 3.5 trips to the park, so there wasn't a point in a flash pass. On a side note I also recommend getting season parking. It's $45 for the season, whereas you would pay $15/day.

I've only bought the flash pass one time and though it helps, when the park is really PACKED, even a flash pass will leave you waiting whether you're in line or not.

They are not usually long at all during April with waits all being less than 45 minutes on most days. During Spring Break the lines were surprisingly long and on 4/16 most of the waits were at least an hour except for Nitro which moves very fast. But April is definitely the best time of the season to go if your looking for short lines.

I have only gone to Fall Family Fun Night once which was last season and it was absolutely empty. There were no more than 200 people in the park BUT it was raining and only medusa, el toro, skull mountain, runaway train, dark knight, and superman were open.

Its a personal record for me and XxF18HORNETxX. We rode Scream Machine in the same row 11 times in a row without leaving our seats and hope to make it more than that this season. And yes we are aware that we are insane for taking the physical pain for this kind of record.

I went on the 13th, and it was amazing! i walked on every ride basically. i went on nitro twice in a row, and in the front! the only downer was that we waited an hour to go on superman again, and it broke down right before we got to the stairs and we got off the line

It did not happen on this day but I had a rare experinece on Nitro. The ride had broken down and there were only enough people in the station to fill one train. I had been waiting right at the entrance this entire time and when the ride reopened I ran up to the station and got to ride front row with the train to myself. As for 4/16 it was one of the greatest days I ever had at Great Adventuere.
