Its a drag brother,launch cntrl,2nd,3rd,4th etc,thrz nt much drvng to do , i had a b20 franknstn before,same as my friends one in the video,golf 5 r32 never cme close, focus st wth management sat next to us,the k20 engne is killer tho yes,but the only reason we made ths video is coz there wasnt a decnt video of a b20 vs fn2, and in my opinion,esp in c.t,th franknsteins arnt tuned properly,evertym i was at the coast i would be way aheada.where as amongst the b20s frm jhb n pta it would be closer
I asume your FN2R is stock. Weight is an issue yes , but the K20Z4 motor is still superior to a frankensteined B20. So imagine an EK Civic with a K20 engine ;-) There are some really quick B20 EK's in CT , but the guys are doing unfair comparisons. Put a modified K20 against the modified B20 then you can draw comparison. Unfortunatly there are no well modded NA K20's in CT so the FN2's will always be called "slow" by ignorant people who cant match apples with apples.
N0c.race,we used launch control 2,the weight of th fn2 is alot to stand a chanc against a b20,th civic is my frnds car,i had a b20 to0,i just felt that there wasnt a go0d enough video of a b20 civic v tec vs the fn2,so we took 1, and yeah,second gear is crap to get into quickly,double clutchng works wondrz though,and the fn2 was loaded with 3 passngrz tho that wil only make a small difrnce
@abomar7 i have a b20 aswell as an fn2 chap ed. first off you are at huge disadvantage with the fn2 being much heavier than the ek civic. if you have 3 people in your car it makes a HUGE difference!! i will try post a vid of my fn2 against this same civic (he's my buddy) :)

Looks like the FN2 was in 2nd at 22km/h, which is way off the power.
The other civic can be heard changing to 2nd, from 1st, at about 0:15
