I just noticed that the Nazi's armbands don't have Swastikas on them. Does anyone know why that is? Because they were usually on in the show and were in the movie. I was just curious. This was SO great! Mel looked extremely touched, and very grateful. So sweet!

Mel Brooks is simply BRILLIANT-hell, even I got teary at the end, because there never WILL be another Mel Brooks-not ever!! I am fortunate enough to not only own all of his movies on dvd, but to watch them with my friends, family, children-so everyone I know will understand EXACTLY how amazing this guy is. MEL BROOKS ROCKS!!! Nothing else to say, really, except I will cry big, fat, heartfelt tears when he passes.

@pmoguyperson That's Richard Kine. He's been on Broadway and in movies. He also was in "Mad About You" and "Spin City". He's one of George Clooney's close friends. The song is from "History of the World, Part I". Mel Brooks played Torquemada (spelling?), Moses and all the other major historical figures in the movie.
