Just got back from Pokemon the Movie White. Cracked up in the theater when Reshiram showed up and started screaming with Megaguirus' cry. Then the title came and Zekrom roared and sounded like Baragon!! Haha that's three stolen cries for the Pokemon movies now!
@PokeZillaX3000 I am aware of that I just find it extremely lazy and makes the finished product seem poor in my eyes. I had the same problem with Cameron's Avatar when I first saw it in theaters. Most of the animals on Pandora shared cries from Jurassic Park and it drove me up a freaking wall in the theater. Why would he go to such extreme lenghts making an original fictional world if he won't give it original sound design?
@BLARGEN69 For me personally, I think the whole Avatar movie was bad. The plot didn't make much sense at all and screaming dinosaurs is getting old. I do agree with you on the original sound designs. It does make things look like they were stolen. Since the Godzilla franchise is famous, it's likely they're going to have a lot of people taking their ideas.
And Megaguirus takes her cry from an earlier one time godzilla character, Jet Jaguar. The roars just keep flying around, you're never sure where they'll pop up next.
@Razoraptor555 They only use the kiyjus' roars in the anime and movies. In the games, they have a guy create the cries of the pokemon. The reason they get to use them in the anime in the movies is because Toho helps out in making them. Btw, I have never heard Destoroyah roar like Dialga does in the games.

@BLARGEN69 They're not stolen. Toho helps makes PKMN movies too, so it's only natural they would reuse the roars.

@Gojira2012 At the time I made this video, I didn't have a lot of roars. Besides, these are the only Non-Movie recorded roars.
