*UPDATE* For those interested, click the "more info" link above. I will be taking this down shortly. Thanks to everyone for their help and, especially to YT's Nachtmärchen!
It sounds like J. Strauss or somebody from the same type/era. Sorry I cannot help anymore since I just went through many many waltz videos and anymore... my head will explode :(
I'm 99.9% sure it's not Beethoven for the first track.
Hi Larry. Sorry but we know nothing about Classical music! Hope you get some help from someone! (our vid is still out of sync!) Will contact you later! Hugs and stars dear friend..Jan and Susan.x
Quite alright, my dear. But for it's historical significance, I wouldn't even bother. Someone may stumble across it one day. As for your video sync problem...what I sometimes do with cantankerous videos is trade them in on a mule, and then shoot the mule! Good luck.

Hm... I should know this, it's a waltz. I'm not a waltz fan though. But it certainly isn't Beethoven.

I'm wondering...my primary concern is with Rene Leibowitz, and listed among his works, under the heading of 'Beethoven' are the following:
Eleven Viennese dances/L'Orchestre Radio Symphonie de Paris (Oceanic, 195?)
Twelve German Dances/Orchestre de la Radiodiffussion Francaise (195?)
Could Beethoven have possibly composed this music?

Possible :)

Well... the more I listen to it, probably not.
