You really should know that a great game is not based on its looks, but its story and gameplay.

True we expect good looks, but games with only looks but without gameplay or story just fall short.

Desmond aint left out. This is Ezio's final chapter. not ACs...

Havent you noticed how they went from numbering the ACs to giving them names.

This is ACII, ACIIB(brotherhood), ACIIC(revelations)

Seeing there is a comic version explaining about russian revelution.

Even WWII has a templar/AC background. oh as they say "history is our playground"

Alot of room for an ACIII. They never said this being desmonds final AC, just Ezio's.

i am a huge fan of assassin's creed and all that but it makes me a little sad to see that this franchise is kinda starting to head down the same road as call of duty, i mean there is a new town, some new weapons and gadgets, and slightly better graphics each year, i think that they should stop releasing one ac each year and take their time making the games, i mean maybe 2+ years on each and keep dlc coming for the current one.

You forget a little detail. It's a new story too. Another part of Ezio's life that is revealed.

New weapons are good. Since that gives you new possibilities of fighting.

New town is GREAT, since it gives you a new area to explore.
