  • @operacat21 I live in America and you can get free lunch if your family has a low enough income. (that would be about 80% of my school :P)

  • This lady seems like she does her job really, really well. I wish she hadn't sold her talent to the government working at a public school.

  • Bless you woman. You have no idea how important this is. We're talking about our future children here people.

  • Guys, let's make this go viral. The world needs to hear the truth.

  • @Zeptacular Sure, I'll just press my "Go Viral" button.

  • @ZeRo2545 Don't hate. Problem fat kid?

  • @Zeptacular No problem at all, I rather enjoyed the video and agree with it. The fact you can't take a tiny sarcastic remark over the internet without resorting to "fat kid" name calling, tells me that you're probably a fat kid yourself. But it's all gravy, because the sooner you realize that hating your life and getting angry towards other on the internet will only increase your anger and make you more fat, the sooner you'll get your shit together, drop some pounds and maybe get a girlfriend.

  • @ZeRo2545 WOW chill man. I'm in no way trying to start an argument with you, especially over the bloody internet. If you can't take a simple retort to your heavy sarcasm that overall lowers not only my positive outlook on this video, but really wasn't necessary, then maybe neither of us should be on YT.

  • ;___; :S I hope I dont get diabetes. I drink a 2Li of coke (RC) everyday

  • this makes me want to sue every single school i've been to in my life. these kids got a salad bar? almost looks like a buffet.

  • 7:14 Best Part, and Best Expression EVER!

  • Why didn't this woman go to my school? :(

  • WTF. I never had foods like that in my school.... we did however have poutine.

  • @jigsaw99 canadian? becuase the poutine was a staple at my school.

  • @CarolineTurpentine

    yup. love poutine.

  • I love watching this stuff

  • "it's touching the kids, over and over and over"

  • this woman is a true american hero

  • So true!

  • I love this video it truely is inspiring <3

  • Awesome passion! Too bad most American's think this is about politics. Dumb republicans!

  • man i cant stand her accent

  • This is why I love Australia. We have epic school lunches. We pay but we get epic food.

  • U worked so hard and i give u a thumb up for that ... :)

  • Great video. I'm from Canada and I don't really understand the cafeteria lunch in the USA. Growing up, everyone brought their own lunch and the only thing you could buy were chips. And at one school I went to there was a system where if you didn't like what your parents made a teacher would go around trading sandwiches with other kids haha

And even when I entered high school where there was a cafeteria, people who never buy their whole meal there, maybe a drink or a side of fries.

  • I feed my Daughter Real and Home made foods. We don't support Industrial foods. Good cooking isn't more expensive! Pay folks to chop veggies at schools instead of monitoring machines at factories! Eat and Work Local! Get gov and industry lobbyists OUT of the equation!

  • Real Food, FTW!!!

  • i would love to work with her!

  • Jamie Oliver fucked over school dinners, at school none of use were fat, and at lunch we ate like kings! But alas, no more. FUCK YOU JAMIE OLIVER GIVE ME BACK MY TURKEY TWIZLERS!

  • She is amazing. Great video. Keep up the good work.

  • her voice is anoying

  • I always wondered what the android from Alien(s) did after those movies. I never thought he'd turn out to be a school chef though!

  • I may be against the way the government wants to enforce what we choose to eat as adults, but when it comes to kids, who don't have much of a choice, or lack the capacity to make the healthy choice, I agree with Ann Cooper 100%. Healthier food in schools equals healthier kids, and makes it more likely they'll make healthier choices later in like, and their kids will be healthier, not only at school, but at home too. Now we just need to get today's parents to care a little more.

  • wow good on you, amazing.

  • argh... chicken nuggets do not sound healthy at all... what is the government thinking?..

  • Great vid!!! This women is awesome!

  • hmmm..maybe they are giving in abit on the food thing in schools in Cali...But backing it up with pushing Vaccines...The kids will still lose out in the end.

unfortunately she is a toss up between, know what she is doing, but not understanding that all the different departments within the federal government are equally corrupted. Take the fed, out of schools period!!

  • I love that woman she's so smart and cute about it. I wish she was my lunch lady.

  • hmmm..maybe they are giving in abit on the food thing in schools in Cali...But backing it up with pushing Vaccines...The kids will still lose out in the end.

  • I praise this woman!!!

  • man, i just love 07:17 :D

  • Nuff said...

  • Let's make the kids grow their own food. It's sustainable. They learn gardening. They gain a trade. Then they can cook it. That's another skill. Then they can eat it. That's an adventure!

  • love love love this!! soo informative!!

  • wall-e reference... lol

  • In America, do kids get lunch for free? Do they not pay?

  • @operacat21 some pay half price, some pay full price, and some get it free. it depends on how much your parents earn.

  • That part where she was talking about bringing in better foods and the kids rejecting it cracked me up.

She seems like a very interesting person. Not that I agree with every little thing she said..

  • I love her enthusiast

  • Cream Fraiche Cafeteria Food!!!

  • I love this woman. Shes so great in Food Inc and Killer At Large

  • good stuff

  • seemed like more of a rant than obsessives

  • i like her...shes awesome for what she is doing

  • Man why is it when the gov't is involved in anything, it is usually a massive failure?

  • @takadi I think its normally because you have a group of individuals who are put in charge of things they don't care about, and know little more about the subject other than a list of cliff notes they probably browse.

    I mean that's just a theory.

  • well my school with metal forks would be deady..... maybe nvm.

  • i wish my school was like that.........

  • HEY SHE WAS IN that food movie thing

  • is this another obsessive that never made it onto youtube untill now?

  • And Californian schools don't allow Jamie Oliver? Sigh, America. SIGH!

He might not be American, but Americans love food and he was just trying to make better food.

Ann Cooper took his place, positively. And I wish to see this trend spreading quick before America starts to creak under with obesity and diabetes.

Healthy food might not be cheap, but it helps you gain the money you lose on medical help to your self-caused illnesses and pay your missing health insurance.

    Thank you, CHOW and Ann!

  • @GraniteTail If you actually watched the season of the show, it had nothing to do with the fact that he is not American.

  • @damneddirtyapez I never claimed him being English, ever was the issue of him being banned from California schools.

  • Comment removed

  • @GraniteTail heallthy food is cheap. Besides the high blood/diabetes/cancer/strokes/seizures that comes from NOT eating healthy (anything processed, white bread (anything white is enriched and bad), fast food, any animal meat, or animal products including eggs, milk, cheese, etc) is cheap because they have made it so fake, inject the animals with steroids etc. Grow your own garden at home (or support local farmers) and if you have no land and a renter grow indoors.

  • @UtubeCanEatMyDick tell that to the millions of Americans who live in food deserts.

  • hell yeah swaggggg

  • wow. i wish my high school had a salad bar

  • your doing great work!!!!

  • Great video. Reminds me of Jamie Oliver's Food revolution.

  • @3:40

I didn't know they were Catholic priests.

  • finally more OBSESSIVES!

this is easily your best segment!

  • Asians are safe! phew

  • @evilz29 that's because we eat almost everything and have small amount of lands that agribusiness cant dictate us

  • @evilz29 Really? Have you seen what Filipinos eat? I don't think they're safe at all.

  • first?
