  • @AnnaBeth0 You obviously have a great eye and ear, wish there were more like U.

  • I can never tire of listening to the melodic poetry and art of billy corgan and the smashing pumpkins. The 90's and into the early 2000's were the best of the pumpkins. Music is a art form that will reverberate through time and space. I truly enjoyed and loved the music of the 90's and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to be one of those people who enjoyed what the pumpkins shared with us all

  • i will say this i saw billy rock out philly last night. a 2hr and 15min long set. i was pleased.

  • I hate the fact that the Smashing Pumpkins couldn't find any artistic success in the last decade. It makes them 90s retro artists, but who cares? They RULED when they were at their peak! No one can deny the power of their music THEN.

  • Yeah, if I remember correctly(probably not), It was Jimmy and Billy who recorded the majority of this record together. Regardless, it is a damn fine album.

  • Awesome

  • Shame darcy is a crackhead

  • I found this funny.

I'll turn 33 the same year this song does.

  • Thumbs up if you lived the 1990s in all of its glorious moody grunginess:-)

  • @williest1 i did for 6 years

  • @williest1 Only 79 years till we can live through the 90s again.

  • @newo82 There are so many things i want to say to that... you're so ignorant. nothing will ever compare, the further away we get, the worse it's gonna be

  • @deathbymarblz The irony of the ignorance of you calling me ignorant is quite astounding. Are you really that stupid? . . . it was a witticism...

  • @newo82 FUCK YOUR WITTICISM

  • @deathbymarblz Yes master I will fuck it hard! I have set you up a chair in the dark corner for the event as per your norm.

  • Thumbs Up if you usually ignore ThumbsUps, but like to make the exception when the request is well written and quite true.

  • @williest1 right here! nin, alice in chains, pumpkins, nirvana, sound garden, portishead, garbage, 311, pearl jam, sonic youth, mazzy star, beck, RHCP, Radiohead, Counting Crows, Third Eye Blind, Weezer, Sugar Ray, TPOTUSOA, Toadies.....can we just go back, please?

  • @Pj311foo - HELL YEH - Hot tub time machine! :-)

  • @Pj311foo - also - No Doubt, Sublime, Kottonmouth Kings, Jane's Addiction, STP..the list goes on....!

  • @williest1 I did and I loved it...but now I feel old lol! I teach at a suburban college of Detroit and when I reference the 90s they (my students) look at me like I'm an old goat, HAHA! But you know what, they didn't have what we had, so I secretly laugh at them, and then I feel better!

  • @Bmkphd1979 yea man who wants what they have i wouldnt trade the 90s for nothing

  • @poopas88 80s suk bitch troll somewhere else fag

  • I always wondered why is Rasputin in the single´s face?

  • I wish more songs and videos were like this.

  • So sad bastard-Billy you sad bastard

  • soiund quality is fucking horrfying. terrible job.

  • Jes.

    T'is true.

The 90's had artists who were influenced by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Joy Division, and other good ones.

The 2000's seek the influence of Michael Jackson, Madonna and other tripe.

Why can't suicide bombers target the concerts of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and countless other bitches who claim to be artists?

  • @Bagelbutcher the cicle its every 30 years (33?): 60's -> 90's 70's-> 2000's 80's -> 2010's. we are only 10 years for great music again!!!! hopefuly mi son will be old enough to enjoy it

  • @Bagelbutcher the cicle its every 30 years (33?): 60's -> 90's 70's-> 2000's 80's -> 2010's. we are only 10 years for great music again!!!! hopefuly mi son will be old enough to enjoy it

  • so... if this theory is true we are condemned to another shitty decade again which is supossed to be worse than the last one... ok so I think I´m going to commit suicide right now

  • @rblanchef damn. that means we have ten years of the 80 ahead of us. cant wait for the sixties to get here again though

  • Classic and timeless.

  • every song i hear by SP i want at my funeral

  • Got this album for grade school graduation, I was 12, 1996, the only song I knew was 1979, haha, I got it to impress the girls with my classy taste in music, LOL!!! Now I have an album that has withstood the test of time and has many classic tracks that I've enjoyed through high school and beyond. I've gotten stoned to it and drifted off to sleep with it, it now has a spot on my gratitude list, thanks SP.

  • Great!!!

  • este video es lo más HERMOSO q he visto en mi vida.. Yelena se pasó ;)

  • Billy Corgan is a genius.

  • Billy corgan is a genius, But its not all him darcy and Iha are also part of the band and without those two, there not the pumpkins, they made amazing music, its depressing that there no more,

  • @Wolftheslayerx You forgot Chamberlain, the heartbeat of the Pumpkins and one of the best drummers ever.

  • @Wolftheslayerx the best music, What happened to them is the saddest thing to happen to my world outside of real personal problems we all have

  • @Wolftheslayerx you forgot jimmy

  • @Wolftheslayerx why did you exclude chamberlin?

  • @Wolftheslayerx you forgot Jimmy Chamberlin

  • @Wolftheslayerx While I usually agree with the whole "every member of a band contributes" mentality... Billy Corgan is a self absorbed egotist and actually recorded and wrote most of the parts on this album and the preceeding ones as well. He didn't trust the others to do it well enough or something. I'm sure that if he could play the drums, he would have done that too.

  • @Wolftheslayerx There's this guy called Jimmy Chamberlin that you might's forgotten to mention.

  • Absolutely beautiful

  • ***** Stars!

  • This clip makes me wanna cry, not only because of its beauty and greatness, but mostly because I think it was the last really big thing from that band. It still remains a cool, talented and successful band, but after that point it lost its magic.

  • FUCKIN BEAUTIFUL

  • The video looks like one of those arts projects in college.

  • true, but beautiful anyway

  • No, he wrote the song fall of 94, right after returning from the SD/Lollapalooza tour. He married his wife in the summer of 93, but left almost immediately after to tour. The song is about his hopes for a new life, in his new house, with his new wife. Nothing to do with Courtney or Jesus. If you're looking for Courtney inspired songs try Fuck You or XYU. :)

  • @galenaie FUCK YOU (an ode to no one) inspired by courtney? why , did he ever bone her?

  • Yes, he did. lol Many times apparently. According to Ms Love they almost married. Scary thought. It was their mutual friend, the infamous Onica, who claimed Clove was the inspiration for all the "hate" songs on MCIS and BC's then wife, Christine, was the inspiration for all the love songs.

  • So I pull my collar up and face the cold, on my own

The earth laughs beneath my heavy feet

At the blasphemy in my old jangly walk

Steeple guide me to my heart and home

The sun is out and up and down again

    I know I'll make it...

    Bellissimo!

  • El mañana es solo una excusa... Tú puedes hacerlo durar, por siempre tú...

  • i loved

  • awesome...

  • One of the best Smashing Pumpkins songs! This song brings back so many good memories. It makes me feel so happy :)

  • Pumpkins have some great songs :)

  • billy corgan went to a physic and she told him that amazing things would happen when he turned 33 66 and 99

  • i love this song because it parallels my own life experiences, of love lost and fading memories of friend

  • Comment removed

  • No he wasn't. He was 28/29 at most

  • I'm trying to think back on an interview he gave...but the moving house was a definite. It was new beginnings. Personally I don't want to know about the christian stuff, it means what it means to different people.

  • billy was 28 when it was released.

  • Already been told.

  • No, according to Billy it isn't...Apparently he was moving into a new house and had just split with his girlfriend.

  • este tema es la pata

  • well, its supossed to be, dunno who the fuck putted a "-1" to you, cuz the song is supossed to be that, starting from the name, thirthy-three (33), the age that Jesus had when he was crucified, and the obvious metaphors of the song.

"serpents waiting on the table"... Judas, the last supper? i'm puttin one thumb up for you.

  • It sucks that billy and the drummer are the only ones that got back together to form the smashing pumpkins again, you cant really call them the smashing pumpkins now.
