  • I'd say that the people who write and produce for Timberlake are the ones with the real talent...

  • gahhhhh so tasty! mmmmmmmmmmm

  • Mike Scott is an awesome guy. I met him a couple of times at Experience PRS (Mike plays PRS guitars), and he's so nice and down to earth. He's also one hell of a guitarist!

  • i've got the chance to play with him...absolutely awesome :)

  • I have great audio and the drums don't quite catch that "natural" sound. They are, however, a vast improvement over other electronic drum kits.

  • Don't like the Drums... sounds unnatural

  • @smelliwL youre listening to a youtube video, if you only had the audio you wouldnt know the difference!

  • First of all his name is prince keyword prince. The dude can have a different band at every gig if he wanted to. Plus these dudes can probably read music like mother fuckers and you can write any of his songs and within 15 mins those dudes can play it. They can play Prince, Justin Timberlake, then play for the fuckin wigles LOL!!!.... Come on you now that's funny.

  • also ...musicians that are talented, can play for anyone...nothing personal....it's all about what you do...how you do it...and how well.....Much Love....

  • Hey, isn't that Cuba Gooding Jr on the keyboards? :-)

  • those drums sound awful!!!!!!

  • What's the make/model of that bass?

  • so Prince and JT share their bands/musicians? i never heard of that. i thought Prince had his own set group of musicians like he did back in the Revolution days. either way, these guys are tight.

  • @jwjh1269 The reason why you haven't heard it because it's a lie. Prince wouldn't ever work with Justin especially after that wanna be homo thug dissed Prince in a song.

  • @cavstony I would google these dudes.....and then make your own assumption.....I know Kev,plays bass for me...so just check it out...peace out....

  • As Prince himself said ' real music by real musicians'

  • Man, there's nothing as sweet and warm as a hollow body. Smooth.

  • how is it possible to dislike this

  • For this mp3 click to dopemp3s doht cohm.

  • This is awesome

  • I LOVE THIS TUNE!!!!! Butterfly by herbie hancock is so easy to get into and jus sounds beautiful by whoever plays it.

  • I've seen Mr. Blackwell with both Prince (twice) and JT and I swear I was watching him more than Prince and JT, he is an insane live performer.

  • I cant believe You guys did that to the title in order for more views/clicks...thats pretty low Native Instruments....Im glad to see this individuals using your software anyways.

  • that hollow body is sooooo nice =O...

  • Georgous tone

  • Oh Mann, ich wünschte sollche fantastischen Musiker gäbe es hier in Deutschland ... man ihr zieht mir echt die Unterhose aus ....... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dang thats awsome hey john what kind of cymbols are those thats awsome

  • MIKE SCOTT !!!!!!

  • sounds like music from an 80's porn flick

  • dont like the guitar players sound for some reason

  • Very very nice!

  • ok is jusin now using prince's former band as his own now?

  • @auq21 Where is Prince? Is this a joke.

  • @princeskipper1 Read the clip title again.

  • Sexxxy...Now this is what I wanna play all day...

  • i think john blackwell is stoonnnneeeddd!!!!! not cool.

  • Blackwell is all off though!

  • mike scott is awesome!!!

  • They are Great! Amazing Beautiful sound.

  • dudes sick

  • That is one of my all time favorites by Mr. Hancock. Mr. Wilson did kill it though........and I can see why they are one of Prince's bands

  • he's beasting on that guitar!

  • ooooo, you play that guitar

  • Thats CHARLES WILSON!!!! not to be CONFUSED with th lead singer from The GAP Band!!!

  • so sick!!!!

  • This is a sick session, I love it...Very prince though???? 'Dont play me'!!!!

  • @Jam6813 This does sound like something prince constructed.

  • killin the PRS!!

  • What is the name of the keyboardist!

  • Charles Wilson

  • I'm pretty sure that it's not. If you search that name, Charles Wilson looks nothing like the guy playing keyboard...

  • I don't know, maybe it is, and he's just being over-shadowed on the internet my another Charles Wilson.

  • damn! John Blackwell sounds WAY better on acoustic drums. I still don't dig the sound of electric drums, not even with John Blackwell behind it.

  • dang sounds so killer

  • WOW I LOVE IT

  • Hey Guys of NativeInstruments, in the description you put Justin Timberlan, and it's Timberlake :P. Just a comment, nothing more.

    Nice VID!

  • Where is Greg Howe???

  • Timberlake is gay. Prince is the man. These former NPG players are the real deal. I met and got to play with the drummer in this vid (John Blackwell). I actually met him while I was playing a herbie hancock tune on the bass and now he's playing it on youtube. I love and appreciate true musicianship and not a weak ex-boy band member that has limited talent and imagination.

  • with all due respect to you man, you can say most boyband/girlband members are limited with talent, but I'd say Timberlake is one of the only ones who has came out with a serious music contribution. I'm not a fanboy or anything but some of his tunes are seriously good so credit where credits due IMO.

  • it's all production/smoke and mirrors, he can move, and his face is in the right place, success.

  • Agree strongly w-lefrash. Many "pop" singers always have been blessed with exceptionally talented musicians.

  • @lefrash JT is a serious contender for MJ's seat in pop music, imo

  • does mike scott use any amp? and what is it? tnx

  • Good tune there THX

deadman, u have a bad tasta of humor.. cuz ure comments must be somekinda joke

  • to all those that say they suck where is your lame weak ass video? Don't say people suck unless you got better .........hell you ain't got nothing and want to criticize.... at least post something, so the world can see how bad you suck

  • Love the tune:

    Butterfly by Herbie Hancock.

    Great musicians...

  • justin is a sack of shite

  • agree. he has no respect for artists who paved the way for his lame voice, dance moves, and weak talent to play instruments. It's all about JT.

  • gr8 musicians

  • Blackwell on drums (PRINCE).. he is the nicest person on earth and the best drummer known to man

  • If these guys suck, who would you say is "good"? I'm just curious.

  • wheres prince?

  • OMFG, read first

  • it was Prince's band, now Justin's

  • what the fuck... this isnt prince or justin.. lame

  • what about some reading, before u throw shit out of ur mouth

  • i like how they playing is smooth but its still hav gospel....

    bravo black music!!!

  • Native Instruments ftw

  • all of them is sick!

  • Mike Scott is sick

  • Fuck you, It may be a misleading title, but that doesnt give you the right to disrespect them like that, people like you are the reason racism still exist

  • ignorant.

  • Mike Scott does octaves in the beginning of the video George Benson once suggested trying them, with two strings in between the root and octave instead of one. Very cool to see someone putting that to use.

  • serious talent in that room

  • Hey Mike Scott, your boy John Buddy Hopkins here. Man, it's great seeing you doing what you do best and that's playing the guitar. Great video and holla sometimes o.k. bud

  • This band is truly amazing, just one thing where's Kevin Antunes?

  • Thats Butterfly by Herbie Hancock.

  • John Blackwell rocks. The electric kit sounds bad though.

  • awesome guitar player

  • yeah the drums are pretty bad...

    guitar sounds great though.

  • fucking piece of shit sound drumkit, you cant replace real drums with this.. not yet atleast

  • how come black people make fantastic instrument players... they all seem to have so much soul to their music

  • as a mixed race person and a musician i have asked myself this question too. i think it's because black musical tradition has its roots in africa where music is never seperated from daily life. it accompanies all aspects of the human condition from birth to death and thus is highly emotional and intuitive in nature. black music is about expression. the emotions we feel should never be supressed by reason. but the best musicians, black or white, strike a balance between the heart and the head!

  • This is a great statement

  • Mike Scott!!! D.C.'s Own!!! Real crank guitar!!

  • i cant stand synthetic cymbals.

that ride cymbal is killing me.

    lol

  • I can here it too, I thought it was a drum machine.

  • They learned from the best by bein with Prince

  • trust me...they didn't have to learn from prince. i know he's an icon, but they were already all that you hear before him. that's why he hired them.

  • Exactly. Part of prince's talent is his ear FOR talent. He don't abide shit players.

  • I guess the only way Justin can really bring sexy back is by using Prince's old band members. LOL!!

  • ....they really ARE.....just that awesome!!!

Glad that someONE let them keep thier music on YouTube.......

  • Wait. This is a demo? Damn.
