Great season 5 opener!! Dexter giving bad news in mickey mouse ears was classic!! But debra Morgan now sleeping with Quinn? She's becoming a bit of a slut, every season a new guy, sometimes 2 or 3 guys... Mind u I wouldn't say no! Not really complaining.. I love this series and all the main actors!

after watching 4 seasons of dexter and season 5 trailer i guessed season5 main storyline.in which after ritas death dexter feels all guilty and blame himself for ritas death and face all questions from FBI for visiting and hanging out with trinity.then another bathtub murder occurs and dexter alones knows another guy is copying trinitys M.O and knows he killed rita not trinity.and dexter proves that
another guy ( fake trinity) killed rita and he also frames this guy for trinity's death.
I thought the season 5 premier was epic though had very little emotion. Mainly at the start. Usually Debra completely breaks into tears when somebody dies but for Rita, it was like whatever. Same with La Guarta, Batista, and Masuka. It was like nobody cared too much which kinda shamed my expectations.
@PatrickderPaumeister if producers said it was trinity it sucks coz dexter didn't get to take revenge for rita's death .i realy thought there will be another bathtub murder and dexter alone will know it wasn't trinity . guess good TV serials aren't easy to predict

i will really miss rita...she was pretty much the whole foundation of that family and dexter had an almost normal life thanks to her and the kids...dexter lost his parents and brother...rita's kids lost both of their parents too...rita's death will leave too many scars to already highly traumatized lives...not to mention the fact that her baby will never get to meet his mom...they should make dexter find a new love interest...maybe somebody like him to help with the killing...or another cop...

Here's is my guess.Trinity didn't kill rita he was on the run , it was another killer with trinity's ammo and dexter will go after who ever killed rita and will frame the guy for trinity's murder so FBI will be done with dexter. i was so touched when dexter knew that he actually loved rita . Dexter is going some where thats why he is the most beloved serial killer ever

@Rebeccachu i enjoyed the fact that dexter was completely unaware that the emotion he was feeling for rita was love until the very end! i always wondered how rita never noticed he never said to her he loved her, if u notice in previous seasons he always manages to avoid saying the words back to her by saying things like 'im so grateful'. think it will be quite an emotional series too!

He uses his job working as a blood spatter expert to find people who committed crimes but weren't punished by the system and kills them. He was married to Rita who is now dead and has three kids (one is his and Rita's and the other two were Rita's from a previous husband).

Deb is fucking everything that moves, but I still love her to death. Awesome episode, surprisingly awesome for a premiere episode O_O. Except for the scene when he was telling the kids...that was odd...and I did not like it D:! But seriously, best premiere ep out of all 5 seasons.

He uses his job working as a blood spatter expert to find people who committed crimes but weren't punished by the system and kills them. He was married to Rita who is now dead and has three kids (one is his and Rita's and the other two were Rita's from a previous husband).
