Man, stop hating on airsoft, and accept a new sport/hobby (not that new, started back in the 70's).. The majority of people playing are veterans of war, and they just like to play airsoft to revive old memories, or put their 4+ years of training to the test. I play in MA and a lot of people playing went overseas. Perhaps if you tried it you'd like it. By the way, this is a massive battle! Where's this located? I'm from Corona, CA but i never played in Cali.

Lead pellets are never allowed in airsoft games, it's illegal to use them in competition and you'd be stupid to try. They can penetrate skin and give poisoning far too easily. Anywhere in the range of .20g-.28g is used in this battle, all 6mm or 8mm plastics. Great vid by the way dave, looks like heaps of fun.
