You're a smart one. Know anything about elemental half-life of organics? Organic preserved material, whether burned or not, still contains detectable atomic particles. I meant to opine that this video was bullshit............. but you gave me more laughs!

umm...the c14 date? Are you kidding? Carbon dating has enough flaws (but can still be useful in some situations), and carbon dating something that has been burned is useless.

@FreemarketSocialist actually, carbon dating has had significant advances in its accuracy as well as the sample needed to test. Further, any charred or burnt remains are the BEST thing to sample c14 levels.

@RecedingMillenium Certainly i don't claim to be an expert, my points were taken from a video that i watched that was in support of C-14 Dating. And i believe it said that carbon dating is only good for approx 10000 years, or so. If you could point me out to some information that shows the postive and negatives of C-14 dating i would appreciate it.

@FreemarketSocialist Using some video as your source of information to understand c14 dating is like using this video to understand the field of archaeology. There are sources that can help you understand the method better than youtube videos. They will require an attention span, though.
