Well, all I have I posted. This was a chance encounter in the post-Thanksgiving shopping season, maybe 2006 or 2007. I was accompanying family to the shopping mall and Steve Nygaard was playing outside his brother's jewelry store in Norfolk, VA to attract customers to the shop.
I asked him permission to record with my Nokia N75 and he gratiously permitted me to record.
I was thrilled with the performance and wished I had had my camcorder and record more.
Steve Nygaard, the trumpeter here, has been awesome since before I met him during summer high school band practice when he was thirteen years-old. I had the 1st trumpet part sheet music in my hand, but I quickly switched with his 2nd part after I heard him play his trumpet fantastically! Keep going, Steve!!! You're great!
