It's just like that treatment they do to Alexander DeLarge in The Clockwork Orange.

What makes this movie BEYOND scary and real is..well first the second to last final mash up thing of the four and when wayans and leto go to the drug dealer at the store. I love this movie. I watched it twice too, yet. But I'll look it much more often. It's a warning to everybody who is taking drugs. It shows the fate of people how are admitted to drugs in such a real way, that it makes me cry, because it was so authentic. It was hard to believe that it was just acted and not for real. I felt so sorry for them. The actors, espeacially Jared (and Jennifer) were so damn brilliant. They deserved Oscars for their work.

That's movie was amazing. The acting was unbelievably good. The power and realization the plot shows to what some people will do to get what they want. It was really powerful yet disgusting at some parts. But after all it is NC-17. I think everyone should see this movie to see what addiction can do to you.

Leto wasn't lying... "Requiem" is one of the most provocative films I've ever seen. I never thought of it as a "horror" film, personally- probably because I've seen entirely too much of the off-screen reality... but now that I think about it, "horror" probably is the best word for it. No happy ending here, but hopefully people seeing it for the first time walk away a little wiser for the worse.

Requiem For A Drema was such a great movie. Jared's performance was so amazing. This movie truely scared me to death. I hope people, after watching it, understand how bad drugs are, how much they can fuck up your life.

The film puts things into perspective. Very real, makes me glad I'm only an alcoholic(still very bad I know), but I can only imagine what a heroin addict goes through.....

same here!! I finished watching the movie at like 2am and trying to go to sleep i was so emotionally unstable and shaking and didn't know what was wrong with me..I remember hoping that things would go back to normal the next day, it kind of did but i was still kind of in a funk. we probably really absorbed the emotions and intensity of the film altogether. i was so disappointed when all my friend had to say about this film was-"The part where Jared got his arm cut off was so gross!"
Wow. the first time I watched the movie, I couldn't sleep that night at all. I kept waking up in the middle of the night, and I was pretty shakey for a couple of days. The Next time I watched it.... like a few months later, the same thing happened. The second time you watch it really does hit you harder.
This movie definitly tops my list of most moving movies. I have seen it so many times and everytime I cry. By the way he is making sense. I understood everything he was trying to say. This movie has put me off drugs for the rest of my life. No words can do his work justice. I love how he started playing around with his tongue. Sex. "I'm not worried about looking good". Absolutely love this man and this film.

I really love Jared Leto. I used to be obsessed with My so called life, I really loved (and hated in that I got really upset by it) Requiem for a dream.
In every interview Jared is always so pleasant and polite, which is odd to find with someone who is so naturally gorgeous.

i would have gotten sick if i wasn't an emetophobic... which was why i got creeped out when marion started throwing up into the camera... then again, that whole movie was really creepy! and it was SO depressing at the end :'(

The film puts things into perspective. Very real, makes me glad I'm only an alcoholic(still very bad I know), but I can only imagine what a heroin addict goes through.....

dude, that movie is so freakin' awesome. i watched i twice too, possibly more. most people think that it's like all depressing and stuff. i love the ending, except i was freaking out when jared (i forgot what his name was in the movie) got his arm chopped off. i don't find it depressing at all. i'm just a freak like that. i think that was the first movie i saw that had him in it. he was awesome. he's my favorite actor. his band is freaking awesome, too. <3

same here!! I finished watching the movie at like 2am and trying to go to sleep i was so emotionally unstable and shaking and didn't know what was wrong with me..I remember hoping that things would go back to normal the next day, it kind of did but i was still kind of in a funk. we probably really absorbed the emotions and intensity of the film altogether. i was so disappointed when all my friend had to say about this film was-"The part where Jared got his arm cut off was so gross!"

Wow. the first time I watched the movie, I couldn't sleep that night at all. I kept waking up in the middle of the night, and I was pretty shakey for a couple of days. The Next time I watched it.... like a few months later, the same thing happened. The second time you watch it really does hit you harder.

This movie definitly tops my list of most moving movies. I have seen it so many times and everytime I cry. By the way he is making sense. I understood everything he was trying to say. This movie has put me off drugs for the rest of my life. No words can do his work justice. I love how he started playing around with his tongue. Sex. "I'm not worried about looking good". Absolutely love this man and this film.
