i got mine for 85 bucks. i dont know about the creepy straightener guys at UR mall, but they earn their pay based on what they sell. so if they see u might want to buy they will knock it down. a lot. and if ur walking away they will knock it down even more.

well idk why its not working for you. maybe ur not setting the curling iron to be hot enough? also, as u r pulling the iron down (after twisting it 360 degress) keep turning it as u pull it down ur hair. that might help.

Those people one time showed me how to curl hair using the flat iron, but I didn't want to buy it. So I went home and tried doing it using my sisters CHI...It really doesn't work. The iron has to be kinda small for the job to work.
