i heard this on a very good documentary about a family that live in boone county west virginia :) soo good its called 'the wild and wonderful whites of west virginia' its so worth a watch :)
@tammy675 Yes, I just watched The Wild & Wonderful Whites and then searched for the Charie Feathers song, there is more great music there in the documentary. It is definately worth to watch it indeed.
Was he really the first with that hiccup ? Or was it a generally defect in the area of Memphis (LOL). .Did you have the lyrics for this please , or would you sing it yourself , while we are cruisin' ...
hell yes this is rockabilly, he was the king of the rockabillies! He recorded at Sun with all the greats. He was the first one to play this style with the hiccup lyrics.
