  • good lord, think of the ammo capacity of a keltec KSG fully loaded with these.... their capacity with normal shells is 7+7+1.... , with these, it would be something like 12+12+1...

  • what is the power/recoil like with those mini shells when compared to a normal 2-1/4" 12 gauge load.

  • How many shells does this allow for in the mag tube? Presumably without the plug.

  • minshells never used them or seen them until this

  • Got a few boxes and having the same issues in the mossberg 590A1 only real way i would use any of these is through a double barrel if using a pump I would manually insert one of these in the chamber and not have any in the tube other then that they dont work...has anyone heard of these working in any semi autos?

  • Mini-Shells are fine in double barrel shotguns.. Otherwise they are just a pain in the ass.

  • @Cytacon wouldnt that defeat the purpose though? if the purpose of these mini shells is to increase capacity in tube magazine shotguns, what would be the point of using them in a double barrel?

  • These work much better in Savage shotguns. Or at least they did for me.

  • i think theres sumthin wrong in your extractor...

  • I think that would just piss somebody off XD

  • how many more shell can u put in the gun with the mini's

  • Why would one use mini shells as opposed to conventional or regular sized shells?

  • @ike1053

    size

  • @ike1053

The idea was to load more ammo into the Shotgun Magazine

Where normal shotguns only hold 6 Shells (2 1/2 inch shells lets say)

That same shotgun can hold 10 Mini-shells.

The idea was "More ammo, more fire power" BUUUUUT these don't like feeding.

If they feed properly, then They would be bad ass =^_^=

  • @ike1053 You can get more shells into one gun.

  • @ike1053 it increases magazine capacity significantly, and lowers recoil. those three or four extra shells could save your life in a home defense situation.

  • So I'm guessing there is a specific gun or chamber modification (if that is possible) to use these shells?

  • I would say the mini shells are a good thing, because u can add more ammo to ur shotgun. That is just my thought. If it can't add more ammo to the gun someone tell me now.

  • I swear something is wrong with those shells

  • Methinks these might be best suited to break-aways.

  • The shell carrier on that gun seems a bit slow or weak... even in the slamfire video with conventional length shells there seems to be an issue. Any ideas?

  • @blakenzy

It was incredibly cold that night.. I was lucky to stay alive.. I'm sure thats it

  • @blakenzy u do know slamfire means accidental discharge right?

  • Hello, i have a quick question. I've seen you shoot the mini shells in both this and the little Serbu but of course the ejecting and feeding mechanism is made for regular sized shells. Is there a shotgun made specifically for these mini shells? Or is it possible to convert?

  • @fnuggie

people say yes.. and anything is possible

  • @GunWebsites Oh alright. I'd love to actually see it.

Another thing, would it be possible to get your hands on a G11 in America? Think the caseless ammo thing is very interesting, and the gun it self is very curious.

  • @fnuggie they would be hard to get anywhere, HK doesnt let their prototypes float around in the ether

  • @fnuggie there was a box magazine fed shotgun made for these shells only it looked like a UZI hybrid but i cant remember what it was called

  • @fnuggie There's a conversion people have done for the Mossberg using an insert in the elevator. Supposedly Winchesters and Ithacas tend to cycle them best out of the box, though.

  • I'll stick with the 2 3/4 in the pump and maybe use those in the double barrel. Thanks for the demo and info.

  • Looks like nothing but a bullshit hassle. I got All excited, only to be dissipointed.

  • So was it the weather conditions that was causing the weapon to malfunction? Or the ammunition?

  • Thanks for the vid

  • Looks like a pain in the ass to load.

  • I want a P90C chambered for those mini shells.

  • you're fixin to get banned from the range bringing all those dangerous knives man. response vid a-coming

  • what were mini-shells originally made for?

  • @alecshinyuanwu

    awesomeness

  • @alecshinyuanwu idk if its what there made for but in Afghanistan they use them to blow open doors during breeches for the hinges

  • @MrLoveslittlekids im not sure that comment is accurate, considering that most breaching rounds are 2.75" and filled with powdered metal,

  • @SacoreyRugger i dont use them so im not gonna pretend i know everything about them but ive seen two or three weapons sergeants use them in cut down 870's or 500's for breaking hinges not for full on breeches

  • @MrLoveslittlekids talking with people i know and thinking of the logistics im going to say that they are not standard issue and anyone you saw with them shouldnt have had them

  • @SacoreyRugger no im not saying they were standard issue all the weapons sergeants i know of have to get their own breaching equipment... but you are correct i dont think they use these i know they use hatton rounds but they just appeared to be smaller than a standard 12 gauge not this type

  • When in doubt use a knife :L

  • Thanks for the info I won't be buying the ones I saw recently.

  • @nativeman73

    more for us, LOL

  • I hear ya

  • Can you have a higher capacity in a shotgun if you use minishells?

  • @vVHollyWoodLightsVv

    yes, thats the whole idea

  • @vVHollyWoodLightsVv Yessir. There's a previous video up showing how many of each size you can get in the same shotgun - worth a look.

  • What's with the artic gloves? Aren't you guys in AZ? lol

  • @enscribe

It was only 54 up there last night.. do you want us to freeze to death??

  • @GunWebsites where i live, 54 is warm for this time of year, 20-30 degrees is averege right now, maybe 37.

  • How about u try slam firing them? Jk

  • @SuperNoob200

If they would have fed I would have..

  • now that 12g reminds me of mine lol

  • yeah it is a pump sorry, I was thinking semi auto because it looks Uzi like

  • This sure isn't going over well for the mini slugs...

  • I have seem some shotguns with some modifications work well with these. There is also that sub-shotgun from Techno Arms that uses these exclusivly. Also, these rounds fit in 12 Ga flare guns...not to say you should do that, lol. Most flare guns are not strong enough to hold up to a round like this, and I am rather sure it would be illegal, unless you had an AOW registered flare gun, lol.

  • another fad in the gun world......

  • Definitely looks more trouble than it's worth

  • the only thing tactical about that shoot was that it was a night :)

  • @ArtisanTony

you just didn't see the ninja rolls and black ops door kicking cause it was too dark

  • u should try them in a double barrel

  • @superdznuts99

yay, that works = no fun, LOL

  • @superdznuts99 why any size shell 2 3/4" and under will work in a double

i roll crimp and load shells down to 2" and thay work in any of the guns i use them in

  • OUTSTANDING SHOTGUN! SHIT!

    *ROFLMAO*

  • whats the spread like, a sawn off or the same?

  • @eldiablo9604

    slugs

  • @GunWebsites oh okay thanks, could you give us a high speed or something? and have you any other videos with that shotgun?

  • @eldiablo9604

sure, tons of vids, search for "Serbu"

  • I wanted to buy a mossberg serbu shorty and use these if theyd work

  • Not the best round for the big boys' gun. It looks like it isn't Q-U-I-T-E long enough to breech easily. But I'm still liking those little minishells. I definitely am going to try them out. Although I haven't seen them for sale anywhere here in Northern California. Thanks.

  • so why did you do this test at night?

  • @mintkendishin

    thats how we roll

  • @GunWebsites i think its cool showing some night shoots. love to see more flame sparks etc at night lol

  • @gunterm2009

    hmmm... stay tuned

  • Can u buy mini Slugs ??

  • @seven47katana

    I am pretty sure I did ..

  • i asked the guy at the gun shop about if these cycle in an 870 he told me they do if you tilt the gun on it's side...i ended up passing on these...

  • @pray4chicken

I was thinking that might work too.. but I didn't want to waste a bunch of these before we try other brands / models

  • there is a shotgun called a mag 7 , its a semi auto that uses these exclusivley... look it up

  • @gruntspy44

I assume it was easier to find / buy the shells than the shotgun, LOL

  • @GunWebsites ya, ive only ever seen one, they are magazine fed like a pistol(magazine goes into pistol grip), but its a shotgun. very ugly and unpracticle gun.

  • @gruntspy44 the mag7 is a pump action shotgun

  • looks like epic fail ... maybe eill work in A12 or other fancy pancy auto shotgun

  • Those mini's might be fun to play with at the range/boonies, but I wouldn't want to rely on them in a self defense situation...

  • Running out of quotes I see! =) haha its okay I like re-runs =)

  • They are basically doing the same thing CB caps do in a Marlin model 60...

  • Pretty much what I experienced in about 5 dif makes of pump gun.

    Decidedly underwhelming.

M1300 was the only Winchester I used.

Too bad, I had hopes for your M12.

Good luck on your other tests.

    Keep the gun porn coming.

    :)

  • hey man i love the vids and everything ima big fan but dude.......PUMP THAT THING cant go easy on it slam it hard both ways or it could be just the way the ramp is made idk but to uer credit u wont see 2 may "youtubers" shooting at night let alone in the cold

    p.s. nice quote

  • wow...Im super disappointed with the reliability of those : (

  • woops, excuse the double post,

but something just occurred to me, would the mossberg500 cycle these better, with it having that elevator system in the receiver?

  • @f1rehawkZ

    ?? we'll find out

  • @GunWebsites nevermind! I inspected my mossberg500 and noticed the rounds would probably just slip through and fall out of the "mag well" area because that model doesn't utilize a feed door. pretty funny though.

  • maybe it will work in a rem 870.

  • Seems like they would be alot of fun if they actually cycled correctly.

  • There's the minis!!!

  • Aww, they are so tiny :)

:D No, seriously. Are they made for smaller shotguns that are designed just for this size of ammunition?

  • @Naba008

no, mostly for a few autos that have different ramps / feed angles or something..

I have heard they were designed for police in South America originally
