good lord, think of the ammo capacity of a keltec KSG fully loaded with these.... their capacity with normal shells is 7+7+1.... , with these, it would be something like 12+12+1...
Got a few boxes and having the same issues in the mossberg 590A1 only real way i would use any of these is through a double barrel if using a pump I would manually insert one of these in the chamber and not have any in the tube other then that they dont work...has anyone heard of these working in any semi autos?
@Cytacon wouldnt that defeat the purpose though? if the purpose of these mini shells is to increase capacity in tube magazine shotguns, what would be the point of using them in a double barrel?
@ike1053 it increases magazine capacity significantly, and lowers recoil. those three or four extra shells could save your life in a home defense situation.
I would say the mini shells are a good thing, because u can add more ammo to ur shotgun. That is just my thought. If it can't add more ammo to the gun someone tell me now.
The shell carrier on that gun seems a bit slow or weak... even in the slamfire video with conventional length shells there seems to be an issue. Any ideas?
Hello, i have a quick question. I've seen you shoot the mini shells in both this and the little Serbu but of course the ejecting and feeding mechanism is made for regular sized shells. Is there a shotgun made specifically for these mini shells? Or is it possible to convert?
@GunWebsites Oh alright. I'd love to actually see it.
Another thing, would it be possible to get your hands on a G11 in America? Think the caseless ammo thing is very interesting, and the gun it self is very curious.
@fnuggie There's a conversion people have done for the Mossberg using an insert in the elevator. Supposedly Winchesters and Ithacas tend to cycle them best out of the box, though.
@SacoreyRugger i dont use them so im not gonna pretend i know everything about them but ive seen two or three weapons sergeants use them in cut down 870's or 500's for breaking hinges not for full on breeches
@MrLoveslittlekids talking with people i know and thinking of the logistics im going to say that they are not standard issue and anyone you saw with them shouldnt have had them
@SacoreyRugger no im not saying they were standard issue all the weapons sergeants i know of have to get their own breaching equipment... but you are correct i dont think they use these i know they use hatton rounds but they just appeared to be smaller than a standard 12 gauge not this type
I have seem some shotguns with some modifications work well with these. There is also that sub-shotgun from Techno Arms that uses these exclusivly. Also, these rounds fit in 12 Ga flare guns...not to say you should do that, lol. Most flare guns are not strong enough to hold up to a round like this, and I am rather sure it would be illegal, unless you had an AOW registered flare gun, lol.
Not the best round for the big boys' gun. It looks like it isn't Q-U-I-T-E long enough to breech easily. But I'm still liking those little minishells. I definitely am going to try them out. Although I haven't seen them for sale anywhere here in Northern California. Thanks.
@GunWebsites ya, ive only ever seen one, they are magazine fed like a pistol(magazine goes into pistol grip), but its a shotgun. very ugly and unpracticle gun.
hey man i love the vids and everything ima big fan but dude.......PUMP THAT THING cant go easy on it slam it hard both ways or it could be just the way the ramp is made idk but to uer credit u wont see 2 may "youtubers" shooting at night let alone in the cold
@GunWebsites nevermind! I inspected my mossberg500 and noticed the rounds would probably just slip through and fall out of the "mag well" area because that model doesn't utilize a feed door. pretty funny though.

what is the power/recoil like with those mini shells when compared to a normal 2-1/4" 12 gauge load.

How many shells does this allow for in the mag tube? Presumably without the plug.

size
GunWebsites 1 year ago
@ike1053
The idea was to load more ammo into the Shotgun Magazine
Where normal shotguns only hold 6 Shells (2 1/2 inch shells lets say)
That same shotgun can hold 10 Mini-shells.
The idea was "More ammo, more fire power" BUUUUUT these don't like feeding.
If they feed properly, then They would be bad ass =^_^=

@ike1053 You can get more shells into one gun.
