@pangodwangojones there were a lot better. The SF turbo port was literally arcade perfect, and Return Fire was one of the best games on it. You also had a wing commander port to it. People liked road rash and off world interceptor, and a lot of the early ps one games were ports of 3do games.

I guess the creators did ok, considering much of the game was created in developer Jason Rubin's apartment, with a very, very, VERY low budget. These days though a game created like this would be unable to compete with other, company produced games. This game, were it released now, would at best be a downloadable game on Xbox live or Playstation Network, and at worst be an experiment by a developer looking to improve their skills.

You can tell that Nobunaga is clearly a representation of Ukyo Tachibanha from Samurai Showdown, even the freakin moves are almost all the same. And of course theres the Mortal Kombat Johnny Cage knockoff Dragon. Did you notice how Major Gaines looks and does some of the same moves as Guile on Street Fighter 2? This clip had me rolling on the floor. I collect old game systems and I will most definately NOT be getting a 3DO. EPIC FAIL

I remember when this game was due to come out on the 3DO. I was so hyped on it. It was "suppose" to be the Mortal Kombat killer. When I bought it, it was ok for a little while. But then I realized "what crap". "Kasumi Ninja" and "Ultra Vortek" on the Atari Jaguar were crap too. "Super Street Fighter II Turbo" and "Samurai Shodown" were the best fighting games on the 3DO.
