  • @jhall38 Here is what I fear about religion. When it is invoked to justify mass murder, genocide and expulsion, i.e., the Spanish Inquisition. I hate to say it, but your sort seem to display this type of mentality towards Muslims. You are arguing that their religion is evil and therefore need to be eliminated? You should remember that it was just this type of demonization and dehumanization that Hitler employed to justify his atrocities against the Jewish people.

  • This is pretty ironic to hear Israeli Jews complaining about the Arabs undertaking actions concerning this area, while they themselves continue to dig unsupervised underneath the Temple Mount for years now.

  • @steute2011 Where is the irony? Jews are interested in the preservation of archaeological material. Their methods are painstaking and exacting. While barbaric Muslims are unearthing layers of archaeological material using BULLDOZERS, Jewish archaeologists are carefully exploring historical remains, adding to the truth regarding the history of Judea-Samaria. Islam, as ever, is interested in MASKING the truth, erecting a historical veneer. Muhammed was a LIAR as are his ideological offspring.

  • @jhall38 If the intentions of the Jewish digging are as pure as you say, then why is it being done in total secrecy? There is no doubt that they are attempting to prove a connection with the land to justify their occupation of it. However, who is going to believe anything that is uncovered if their is no independent observer there to verify the discovery? You seem to be arguing from a biblical stand point, which is something I am not educated enough to debate, nor do I give it much credence.

  • @steute2011 You said "they are attempting to prove a connection with the land to justify their occupation of it.". Are you joking? The Jewish presence in Israel since ancient times is indisputable. Only a Muslim would make an inference to the contrary. I live in the Muslim Middle East and know what you Muslims do to history. All you need is a black marker to deface any text you choose. Other pages can be ripped out. Muslims celebrate ignorance of ancient history, typically rewriting it.

  • @jhall38 "Indisputable" to whom? "Indisputable" based on what evidence, other than biblical scripture? How do you prove ancient history to be "indisputable"? You could not be more wrong and bigoted in your assertion that I am Muslim, as I am born and bread American of Irish descent. I do not use religion as a basis for justifying any position I hold. Religion, as you have so eloquently proven, always makes people sound foolish.

  • @steute2011 I made an inference that you are Muslim, perhaps since you are mimicking typical Islamic argument. Sorry. However, I made no assertion regarding your identity. As for evidence regarding Hebrew/later "Jewish" presence in Canaan/Judaea-Samaria/Palestine/Israel, you should purchase a copy of Pritchard's "Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament". It appears that you are no student of the Bible, for if you were you'd have grasped its enormously important historical status.

  • @steute2011 I see you are no student of religion either, the more to pity. Yet you maintain this intractable position relative it. Don't you sometimes wonder why major universities around the world employ thousands of scholars in this subject you malign? Visit Cambridge or Harvard, Princeton or Yale. Make inquiry in the departments of religion and see how far your silly assertion about religion gets you. There is more in "religion" than you know, at both extremes of beauty & horror.

  • @steute2011 You say you don't give the Bible "much credence" and yet in the same sentence admit you "are not educated enough to debate" it. Contradiction? Moh did not do you Muslims any favors, fooling you regarding the Bible. You all think you're experts on ancient history while disregarding major texts associated with it like the Bible. There is history before Islam, important history. There is more to know about the Bible than what an illiterate, medieval, wife lying character invented.

  • @jhall38 Let's see if I can simplify my statement for you and in this way you won't hurt yourself trying to understand it. I do not believe in the Holy Bible, the Hebrew Bible, Talmud, Torah, Koran or any other version you kooks might swear by. Again, only a true idiot could use any version of the Bible to dictate ancient historical events. Only a bigger religious idiot would decree his own religion superior to another, while accusing that religion of doing the same to yours. Hypocritical?

  • @steute2011 I am happy that you think you are intellectually superior to me and are quite happy to announce your assumption. Lovely. What you believe in, while it that is indeed important, has little to do with whether the objects of your scorn/disbelief are actually important and deserving of attention. You may as well say you don't think "The Chronicles of Narnia" are important pieces of fiction. So what? You are only announcing your ignorance and lack of interest. The two are related.

  • @steute2011 You said, "only a true idiot could use any version of the Bible to dictate ancient historical events." Your lack of education is astounding. Were you educated in a Muslim country? Have you ever even taken a post secondary course in ancient history? I doubt it. Do you know of the progression of ancient empires, beginning with Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Persia, Greece and Rome? This is not a comprehensive list. Read "Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament".

  • @steute2011 By the way, you don't need to attack me personally. Save your venom for ideas. This only demonstrates the weakness of your argument.

  • @jhall38 6) Gentiles are outside the protection of the law and God

has “exposed their money to Israel”. –Baba Kamma 37b

    7) All Gentile children are animals. –Yebamoth 98a

    8) Gentile girls are in a state of niddah (filth) from birth.

    –Abodah Zarah 36b

    9) Only Jews are human (“Only ye are designated men”).

    –Baba Kattan 114a-114b

    10) Jews may use lies (“subterfuges”) to circumvent a Gentile.

    –Baba Kamma 113a

  • @jhall38 You seem to know the motivations behind PALESTINIAN actions better than they themselves do. You obviously have a disdain for these people, which seems to rise to the level of Islamophobic. Funny thing, I am currently in Orlando. FL and yesterday I went into a souvenir store. The attendant and I struck up a conversation, wherein I asked him where he was from. He explained PALESTINE!...NOT "Judea-Samaria"

  • @steute2011 Islam codifies LYING. READ just a little bit in the Hadith and Quran and you will understand this. Taqqiya might ring a bell. Moh's giving permission to lie to someone in order to kill them might jump out at you as you read. Moh's advice to lie to wives "to preserve relationships" might ANNOY you, if you read. Whatever Muslims say needs to be taken with a grain of salt. By the way, the term "Palestine" was used by JEWS of their lands prior to so-called "Palestinian" usage.

  • @jhall38 So now Arabs where not the majority in Palestine prior to the arrival of the European Zionist Jews? Why would Jews call the land of Israel that was allegedly theirs Palestine? Are you kidding me? Why don't you read the Talmud and all the verses that clearly state much more sinister things. 1) If a Jew is tempted to do evil he should go to a city where he

is not known and do the evil there. –Moed Kattan 17a

  • @steute2011 1. Concerning "Palestine", "the word itself derives from "Peleshet", a name that appears frequently in the Bible and has come into English as "Philistine". The Philistines were mediterranean people originating from Asia Minor and Greek localities. They reached the southern coast of Israel in several waves. One group arrived in the pre-patriarchal period and settled south of Beersheba in Gerar where they came into conflict with Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael." See eretzyisroel. org

  • @steute2011 2. "Another group, coming from Crete after being repulsed from an attempted invasion of Egypt by Rameses III in 1194 BCE, seized the southern coastal area, where they founded five settlements (Gaza, Ascalon, Ashdod, Ekron and Gat). In the Persian and Greek periods, foreign settlers - chiefly from the Mediterranean islands - overran the Philistine districts. From the time of Herodotus, Greeks called the eastern coast of the Mediterranean "Syria Palaestina"." same citation

  • @steute2011 1. "WHAT DOES "PALESTINE" MEAN?

It has never been the name of a nation or state. It is a geographical term, used to designate the region at those times in history when there is no nation or state there. " same citation

  • @steute2011 "The Philistines were not Arabs nor Semites...related to Greeks..didn't speak Arabic. They had no connection, ethnic, linguistic or historical with Arabia or Arabs. The name "Falastin" that Arabs today use for "Palestine" is not an Arabic name. It is the Arab pronunciation of the Greco-Roman "Palastina"; which is derived from the Plesheth, (root palash) was a general term meaning rolling or migratory. This referred to the Philistine's invasion and conquest of the coast from the sea."

  • @steute2011 6. "The use of the term "Palestinian" for an Arab ethnic group is a modern political creation which has no basis in fact - and had never had any international or academic credibility before 1967." same citation

  • @steute2011 You'll have to go the citation to see the stamps for this one. "Is Jordan Palestine? Here are two Jordanian State Stamps. On the left, one from 1949 with a picture of King Abdullah of the kingdom of Jordan and bears the label of Palestine in English and Arabic. On the right, a 1964 stamp bearing the likeness of King Hussein and pictures Mandated Palestine as an undivided territory including both present day Israel and Jordan." eretzyisroel. org/ ~jkatz/ meaning. html

  • @steute2011 Your Talmudic citation is incomplete. "Rabbi Ila'i said: If a person is tempted to do evil he should go to a city where he is not known, dress in black clothes, cover his head in black, and do what his heart desires so that G-d's name will not be desecrated." "Note the part of the passage that is not quoted... this person (not necessarily a Jew) must dress in black & cover his head. Why should this be if the Talmud is offering advice on how to commit a crime?" talmud. faithweb .com

  • @steute2011 "advice to a person steeped in desire is meaningless because the person has lost control of his actions. Rather, the person is bidden to first delay his..actions by going to a city where he is not known. This lengthy trip will serve as a cooling off period. He is..told to dress humbly which should..[remind him] what he should be doing compared to what he plans.. Rather than offering.. permission to sin, the Talmud is [indirectly rebuking] to prevent the person from sinning "same site

  • @jhall38 2) If a heathen (Gentile) hits a Jew, the Gentile must be killed.

Hitting a Jew is the same as hitting God. –Sanhedrin 58b

    3) A Jew need not pay a Gentile (“Cuthean”) the wages owed

    him for work. –Sanhedrin 57a

    4) If a Jew finds an object lost by a Gentile (“heathen”) it does

not have to be returned. -Baba Mezia 24a also in Baba Kamma 113b

    5) When a Jew murders a Gentile (“Cuthean”), there will be no

death penalty. What a Jew steals from a Gentile he may

    keep. –Sanhedrin 57a

  • @steute2011 I am not "Islamophobic". I am not afraid of that evil religion. I detest it. Why? Because I read. I KNOW the kind of life that Mohammed lived. That anyone on the planet could think that his life was good absolutely disgusts me. I of course recognize the Muslim's right to believe whatever they like. They may believe that Hitler was a great guy (which by the way, they do) for all I care. They are not free to kill people who leave their religion of lies, misogyny and murder.

  • @steute2011 The Jewish presence in Judea-Samaria is not going anywhere. So-called "Palestinians", whatever their countries of origin are should get used to it. Good grief. They've had almost 64 years to get used to the idea of ISRAEL. Still, all they do is WHINE when they attempt something evil and get thwarted. When will YOU be happy? When the Jews living in Israel have been pushed into the sea? Now there's a Palestinian sentiment with which you might identify. Enjoy defending that.

  • @jhall38 That's pretty funny..."whatever countries they are from"? I bet you every last one of them can trace their roots to that land for 100's of years, whereas the Jewish people living there have absolutely no connection whatsoever. In fact over 50% of the Jews living in Israel and the OCCUPIED territories are dual citizens of the countries THEY came from! Some asshole goes to the West Bank and claims God gave him the land. Sounds like pure colonialism to me.

  • @steute2011 Get a copy of the Hadith, perhaps the 10 volumes of Bukhairi. It is essential for an understanding of the Quran. It gives the contexts. Read it. Read the Bible. Get a copy of Pritchard's "Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament" and read the Bible with historical understanding. Just READ!!!!!!!!!!! Your understanding of the problem posed by Islam in the Middle East would improve. Jews have NO LITERATURE of hate regarding Muslims, who most certainly do of Jews.

  • @jhall38 Funny you should mention BULLDOZERS, as this is one of the primary tools of Israeli war crimes. You know the destruction of Palestinian homes to build illegal settlements, an illegal wall, or a illegal Jewish only road. I would be nice if the IDF took as much care to protect the human rights of the Palestinian people who they OCCUPY, as those Jewish archaeologists do with their digging.

  • @steute2011 Occupation, schmocupation! Who occupies whom? It was not until the Jews joined other Jews in their ancient homeland that Arabs began swarming there like roaches in their thousands. The Israelis developed the land and beat the pants off the Arabs who repeatedly tried driving them into the sea (1948,1967,1973, etc.) You Arab Muslims whine too much. You try to kill people and whine when your evil plans are foiled. YOU LOST. World Wars I & II are over & you were on the wrong side.

  • @jhall38 You are a clown. Jewish people had absolutely nothing to do with the victories in WW1 & 2, as you were in camps for attempting to do the same thing you eventually did in Palestine. Something you still whine about today, the Holocaust. Always playing the victim, while committing your own atrocities against others. Israel was born of terrorism and only has the early Zionist gangs (Irgun, Stern and Haganah) to thank for the Palestinian terrorism.

  • @steute2011 Your ignorance is bold and astounding! You think there were no Jews resisting Hitler? Read. You said "[Jews] were in camps for attempting to do the same thing [they] eventually did in Palestine". I think I am going to stop discussing things with you. You are intellectually offensive. You make assertions without any support which only reflect your Jew hatred. This is like talking to a wall. Nothing of substance. Palestinian terrorism begins in the Quran, you twit. Read.

  • @jhall38 Your are a complete and utter hypocrite. Everything you accuse me of is exactly what you in fact initiated. You spill your hatred and disdain for Arabs, their religion and even have the audacity to allege that they are not people. Yet when I so much as question anything pertaining to the Jewish people or faith, you immediately label me as a "Jew hater" and "intellectually offensive". My wife is Jewish, so I will be sure and let her know that l "hate" her.

  • @jhall38 No my wife is not a 'self-hating Jew" and I am not anti-Semitic. We both acknowledge the abundant contributions that the Jewish people have made to man kind and continue to do so. We simply disagree with the occupation, illegal settlements and human rights violations being committed by Israel against the Palestinian people. We are far from alone in this sentiment, as many Jewish people and organizations share the same feelings.

  • @jhall38 I have read the many human rights reports that have been generated by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, B'TSelem, the International RedCross, ect... These reports completely contradict your statement that there have been no human rights violations, as many have even been video recorded and are indisputable. While there are some extremist elements of the Muslim Palestinian community, I do not believe it is fair or accurate to label an entire religious group. Some are moderate.

  • @jhall38 Christian clergy have for years been spat upon and verbally attacked by Jewish extremists in Jerusalem, some of them make there women give their seats to the men and the Talmudic teachings that I pointed out earlier. Does that mean that all who practice Judaism are practicing this extreme form of Judaism? Also, I have heard of the Christian End of Days prophecy, wherein allegedly all the Jews will be destroyed or converted. Is this true and is that not violent?

  • @steute2011 Religious debate and the meeting of ideologically oppositional groups is welcome in a democracy. There should be more of it. While spitting on people may be extreme, that is a far cry from educating children to strap bombs on themselves so they can blow up Jews. If people were to spit back, perhaps all that might happen is a little sharing of some virus or at best the need to take a bath. There is no Christian apocalyptic involving the destruction of Jews. That is Islamic.

  • @jhall38 This is precisely why I do not invoke religion when forming my opinions on the conflict, because one persons interpretation of the scripture can be completely opposite the next persons, not to mention one religion to the other. What makes your Bible the gospel and the Quran a "lie" and how can any of it be verified? I would like to write a bit more, but I have to go. I will write again later. Please accept my sincere apology for being obnoxious in my previous replies.

  • @steute2011 That you do not "invoke religion" is a grave error. This sounds to me a bit like trying to understand Hitler while refusing to invoke Nazism. After all, it could be interpreted variously. Or you might say, "I refuse to read 'Mein Kampf' to prepare myself to attack Hitlerian ideology. This is foolish, Steute. READ THE QURAN! Read the essential Hadith. Get the 10 volume set of Al Bukhairi Hadith or the 4 volume set of Muslim. UNDERSTAND Islam! You will be shocked.

  • @steute2011 The Bible is a collection of literature representing approximately 4000 years of human history. It lies at the heart of the great literature of the West. Read Britannica's 'Great Books' and understand its historic, poetic, judicial, social & spiritual significance. Its history reflects well attested secular history. Read Pritchard's 'Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament'. The Bible is studied in major universities around the world (minus Islamic lands).

  • @steute2011 The basic question is "Who has a right to be in the area of the state of Israel? By international law, the citizens of the state of Israel. By the laws of the state of Israel, what may it do to protect its citizens? It may RESIST people who occupy its sovereign territory, expelling them, killing them, etc. These rights are the rights of nations everywhere. Do the Palestinians have a state with international rights? NO, What rights do TERRORISTS have in any nation? NONE.

  • @jhall38 According to international law, Israel is a sovereign state with internationally recognized borders, which do not include the West Bank, Gaza and Golan Heights. These territories were acquired by war and are therefore inadmissible. While Palestine was never a state as we know it, the UN and ICJ have declared that the West Bank and Gaza are occupied Palestinian territories. This conclusion was reached based on the little known fact that indigenous people can in fact have sovereignty.

  • @steute2011 It is unreasonable to say the least to expect the citizens of Israel to accept Palestinian dogma regarding its requirement to hide behind rocks (in Palestinian mythology) and trees as the Muslims attack them, only to be exposed by the trees themselves, "Here is a Jew! Kill him!" Those are the words of that hateful, lying prophet, that so-called, disgusting prophet of the devil who told his gullible followers to lie to their wives "to preserve relationships". What an idiot.

  • @steute2011 Islam MUST BE ATTACKED, and that very aggressively. It is the most VILE, purulent ideology on the face of the planet. The only ones who don't think this don't read or else are brainwashed to think "Muhammed is always right." Just read about his evil life. He beheaded 900 Jewish boys and men by himself without taking a break. His men tore the body of a tribal leader, an Arab Jewess. Mohammed (piss be upon him) then had her head paraded around Medina, a Jewish city he occupied.

  • @steute2011 Historical revisionism is intellectually offensive. Jews are not doing in Palestine what they did in Europe prior to the second world war. I don't think you meant to say that in a complementary way. You meant to attack Jews, as if they were somehow oppressing people in Hitler's Germany and wherever that wicked man set his foot and so somehow deserved the Holocaust, which you rant about being trite. That makes me think you're a Neo-Nazi. Are you?

  • @jhall38 You have selected one narrative that suits your beliefs. You are attempting you impose it by using Biblical scripture, selective writings and your complete distortion of how the conflict has evolved to this point. I would have engaged you in a more respectful manner if it were not for your initial offensive comments, regarding the Palestinian people. They are the real victims in this conflict, as every single human rights organization, scholars and historians have documented.

  • @steute2011 You say Palestinians are the real victims. You are the victim, steute, the victim of Muslim propaganda. Do a quick YouTube search for "The Al Dhura Affair". See how Palestinians lied about that whole mess, concocting a STAGED WAR with Jewish border guards. That faked event set off an intifada, an uprising of Muslims in Israel. After you've investigated Palestinian lies, see if you can find records of any modern day Israelis bombing Arab coffee shops, buses, or shopping malls.

  • @steute2011 The Palestinians are not victims. Israel gave many of them citizenship, the ones that didn't leave the country in 1948 when the Muslim nations surrounding little Israel told them to leave and return once Israel had been wiped off the face of the earth. That didn't happen, the Muslim countries refused to let any refugees enter their countries, Arabs started migrating to the West Bank a& so-called "Palestinian" numbers began growing overnight. Tell me what you think about Al Dhura.

  • @steute2011 The United Nations acts deaf when it comes to Muslim atrocities. Could it be they are afraid of what their growing Muslim populations will do if they actually tell the truth about Palestinian lies and misbehavior? I have visited Israel many times. In a conversation with a Palestinian businessman in the Muslim quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, I heard something very interesting. He said that the real problem in Israel was not the Israelis. It was the Palestinians.

  • @steute2011 The problem in the Mideast is not Israel , the Bible, Judaism or Christianity. It is Islam. Wake up and smell the Arabic coffee, ya Irish. You are soon to be served a heaping helping of it as you wake up to the sounds of the muezzin demanding that you march over to the local mosque and give homage to their demon lord, Allah. Yes, Sharia law will fit well with you, you Irishman. All your Jews (if there are any) will be properly eliminated or subdued and your women covered. Enjoy.

  • @steute2011 I doubt you have set one of your Irish feet on Middle Eastern soil. You probably have never experienced life in the Muslim world. It is not good, my Irish friend. Islam is a curse. Muhammed was a liar. He began his hateful career by ROBBING Meccan caravans and taking a Jewish city, Yathrib, renaming it Medina (Islam's 2nd "holiest" site), killing or enslaving its inhabitants. He became a rich slave trader, trafficking in human life. He composed his Quran to ensure his status.

  • @steute2011 The problem in the ME is ideological. Islam opposes everything. The Jews are just the first in a long line of things it hates and wants to possess. Its lies are RELIGIOUSLY codified in Islamic texts. Mohammed taught lying (to wives, enemies & friends). He taught his followers to kill anyone who wouldn't submit to Islam. That includes you. Have a drink of Arabic coffee as your throat is slit. Of course you don't believe any of this since you don't read "religious" texts. Unfortunate

  • @jhall38 not "Its lies are" but "Lying is". Both are true but the latter more damaging. Islam teaches lying as a legitimate technique. This alone should damn it as a religion interested in truth. It is not. Lying is no foundation for philosophy. Men should tell the truth. This is a basic assumption.

  • @steute2011 Israel is a democracy, Irishman. There are Israeli Arab Muslims. Are there any Jewish Arabs in any Muslim lands? They were driven out of their homes there by Muslims in the 1950's. Billions of dollars in property was STOLEN by the Muslims from Jews living there. I live in the Middle East, in the Muslim Middle East most of the year. When I visit Israel, it is like getting a breath of fresh air. There is freedom there, only not freedom for Muslims to RULE and kill. I like that.

  • @steute2011 What war crimes? Your jargon is so politically correct. Hamas & other extremely violent Muslim groups bomb Israeli towns. Hateful Muslims blow themselves up to fulfill their mothers' anti-Jewish training, hoping desperately that their children will kill people. Arab Muslim violence is CODIFIED IN Islam's RELIGIOUS TEXTS!!! They kill and get to feel righteous about it. Listen to the hate speech of those prisoners Israel set free. Why do you whine about Palestinian human rights?

  • @jhall38 When an occupying force transfers it's own population into the territory that it occupies, that is a war crime. I defend the innocent Palestinians, not those who chose terror. They are not all terrorist, just like not all Jews are terrorist just because the early Zionist Jews practiced terrorism and attempted to do so against the US in the Lavon Affair.

  • @steute2011 Let some group repeatedly attempt to invade your home & kill your family. Let's see whether you try to prevent it by increasing security. Maybe you'll build a wall the murderers can't get around. Let the murderers complain that you are cutting off their access to your home. Wah! Wah! What a load of crap. Palestinians are among the most WARLIKE people on the planet, yet you defend them. See on which side of the Allenby Bridge there is fortification; that'll tell you something.

  • These people are so ignorant and don't know ny better. They're brainwashed to believe in Muhammed, not Jesus , and interbreeding with their cousins. They have retarded offspring and have no regard because they're selfish and don't think about the consequences of what interbreeding does. Anotherwords, they still live in the prehistoric ages. Sad!

  • @1martuska NEWS FLASH...Jews don't believe in Jesus either! Quite ignorant to label all Muslims this way! Perhaps you are the one with a secret obsession with insest? Maybe your Grandfather is also your Father?

  • @steute2011 What do you mean, "Jews don't believe in Jesus either"? He should be embraced as a historic Jew. Of that there should be no question. Muslims would be incapable of embracing Jesus as the historical Jew that he was. Islamic texts are abysmally IGNORANT of Jewish history. You should not slaughter it either. Jews should celebrate the history surrounding Herod's Temple, including the presence of the Rabbi known as Jesus. Whether you believe he was the Messiah is another matter.

  • @jhall38 I don't understand your position here, as you and everyone in the world knows that the Jewish people do not believe in Jesus as a prophet or Messiah. I do not take a position on whether or not it is a good or bad thing, as I am agnostic and have no religious knowledge to speak of. I apologize if I have said anything that offends you, as that was not my intention.

  • Amen to that lapaixmaintenant! Jesus Christ THE MESSIAH will arrive in Jerusalem! Are You ready for His return! Let us prepare our hearts for His coming!!! zmy faith will literally become my eyes!!!! Peace be with You!

  • jerusalem is where messiah will arrive, we MUST build the temple to welcome him home ! ! !!

  • it's sad that this derstruction going , but at least we have some artifacts from an area that part of it forbidden to jews to even to walk there

  • I wish that the sifting team would restore the most artifacts from this illicit dig of the waqf

  • The muslims are digging so that they can bury the "proof" to be dug up later that they been there for thousands of years.
