THIS is the reason for China's success.They don't let assumptions stop them from getting into action. No matter what you tell them, they'll do it first, fail a thousand times, and eventually get it right. Most of the rest of the world wil think about something, shake it's head, think of another idea, shake it's head, tink of another one, shake its head...and keep on thinking. If I could find out where he lives I would like to ship him a chevy small block 350 V8 that should give him enough power. But he needs to strengthen the air frame, I'd hate to it fall apart under its own weight. You all seen how the tail planes wobbled.

I think he needs to lengthen the fuselage and make the tail more stable.  Some trained retired flight engineer needs to step in and help this old guy make some mods before he gets himself killed. I'm sure if the design principals in it and the engine is strong enough, with some changes, it could be made to fly a nice gentle flight.

That plane will never fly built like that, but that's not important, what's important is his effort and ingenious design for a airplane built by a illiterate peasant. What I mean is that he cannot read or write so he really reinvented everything himself, which is incredible. This sort of people would become great scientist and engineers only if they ever had a chance. Congratulations and keep up the work! And good luck!

The principle of flight is actually fairly simple. A wing surface and sufficient airspeed to produce enough lift against gravity. He's got the guts to build a plane that deserves respect, but doing such a thing itself is actually meaningless. I mean they always know WHAT they want but they never calculate HOW MUCH they need. Those parts are ganna fail, and people may die in vain.
