That was awesome. They played at our wedding in Dennis the next summer and there was a big group of us that used to see them at Kinvara's in Boston every week. Thanks for posting this!
I remember getting the footlong dogs next door and listening to the Jug Band when I was a kid.Upon reaching the age of imbibement, the Surf Club became my favorite watering hole.
I remember Joe Perry of Aerosmith being asked about what musicians he would want to play with if he put a supergroup together. He said "the P Town Jug Band." Joe said he had gone to their shows and jammed with them, this was early 80's when he went solo.
That is some absolutely fantastic music! Virtuoso performances all 'round. Sounds a lot like skiffle. Thank you very much for sharing. I'd swear that that is a young Christopher Reeve on guitar....
Truthfully, WE were having more fun than anyone...Thanks for posting this and letting me see my old pals and my hair in one fell swoop; your kind words and remembrances go a long way. XO

My wife Marese and I were big fans of these guys - so big we hired them to play our wedding in June/1992 in Middleboro. Fantastic

Why did they go and ruin the best place in town?

Who are these kids? All that dark hair is a faint memory. Great to see Gino again, but I miss the sax player (wink, wink), he was fabulous. LOL!
