This sport has gone to hell. Don't even watch it on tv anymore. John Force ruined this sport. He backed shorter tracks because he had his daughter racing and since he was the face of the sport NHRA fell in behind him. Yea that's conjecture on my part there was also the Kalita death but this sport is now a non issue with shorter tracks.

John Force has been my favourite drag racer in the funny car class since my first time going to the NHRA dragg strip with my dad. My favourite in top fuel is of course Tony Schumacher.

Force gets it. He knows it's not just drag racing, it's entertainment. He's a great promotor of the sport that he loves. Passion is the key to his success.
