Ok, now my comment isn't posting, I'm going to try it again
This sounded great, one of my favorite tunes by George Strait. The longest I had a pick was a year, it was a very thick pick, and it broke while I was backing up a fiddle player on Orange Blossom Special. I was strumming a bit too hard!
Yeah I never use anything thinner than 1.00mm. That helps the tone of my guitar. Those X-tra thin picks break like crazy on me, even mediums break a lot.
Well he's smart. I find that thicker picks give a fuller tone to my guitar. However I never broke a string with them. I usually break them by bending them really high, I mean REALLY high.
Well blow me down! (as Popeye used to say)...this was one rip roaringly upbeat and energetic performance, filled with magice, stunning vocals and some mighty fine guitar strummin'.
I played the same set of strings on my Stratocaster for 15 years. The tone was a little muffled and it did not want to tune too good but I saved lots of cash on strings over the years. One finally broke. I think it rusted out. I did play 5 nights a week at that time I might add so I think I got my money out of those strings. I was too cheap to buy a pick. I used my fingers and when I wore a hole in my skin I used super glue to glue up the hole.
Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday "30-year-pick" ,Happy birthday to you !!!...., ;o))) BTW, great endition again !!!, Rene. 5*****
