i'll be taking driving lessons in about two months so i've decided that i'd rather pay money getting lessons on the road than have to kick my heels waiting for this software. There's been absolutely no idea when this software may come out, and by the sound of things it might not even be this year!! I would urge anyone learning to drive to just get an instructor and go out on the road - there's no point waiting an indefinite length of time for this software to come out. Practice in real life!

you can't practice parkign and such but if you want to practice driving fast and drifting.. then guy Live for Speed S2 (on pc) or at least Enthusia (on ps2) and buy a Logitech G25 wheel for both/either of them.

you are right, the sim should be finished by now, but in the last few months we were forced to wait for other issues, non simulator-related. The good news is that we have taken advantage of the delay, to improve the graphics engine and physics (included the first rear-wheel driven car). We also included new scenarios. I just can say that all these delays are absolutely unavoidable. Thanks a lot for your patience.

So sorry for the delay but we are on it, ... working hard. Those fake versions are out there for quite long ago, but they have nothing to do with us, nor simax. If you download'em, youll probably get spyware or whatever they wanna put in there. Anything but Simax.

As long as no release is announced at our web site, you should take no care about what others say. Appart from the fact that you souldn´t visit those pirate sites... but that´s up to you...

LFS is great for fun, but I´m sorry to tell you that this has nothing to do with LFS. You just cannot compare them, as they´re simply different kind of products.

Don´t confuse a racing game like LFS, with and a professional driving simulator, a training tool to improve driving skills in real environments and to increase driving safety, not just for fun.

Finally. A proper "Civilian Driving Simulator" that is'nt another "Racing Driving Simulator". They have "Civilian Flight Simulators", Civilian Train Simulators" and even "Civilian Boat Simulators" but where is the "Civilian Driving Simulator"?. The product can be sold to anyone, not just companies, but it´s not just a videogame, ít´s a full simulator, with hardware and a real car cockpit. So it´s not as cheap as a videogame, of course ;)
