  • Can Sony Vegas Movie Studio crop? I record from Virtual Console (Wii) and I untick maintain aspect ratio to slightly reduce borders, but event pan crop only moves/resizes the window as a whole, I can't move/crop axis individually. That sucks.

  • @CrashtestGaming at 0:43 it shows the event.pan crop menu, there should be 7 boxes in the left hand corner click the 5th and 6th boxes to deactivate lock aspect ratio, and size about center.never worked with movie studio always stuck with pro,but according to multiple sources those options should be there in the same spot, leave comment if it works if not ill try to work with you to find a different solution.

  • @mvitkun - Aha, Just got it to work when u replied, thanks alot.

  • i have a bigger problem.

i dont have window boxing but when i render it does and i dont know how to remove that...

  • @newking12498 do you have "stretch video to output frame size (do not letterbox)" checked when you render?

  • @mvitkun OMGGGGGGGG

THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH FOR THIS

  • @newking12498 lol,I take it that the letter-boxing is gone?

  • @mvitkun yes! thanks to you my video is perfect now!

  • um i have black bars on top and bottom and all the presets look stupid do you know how to get rid of those

  • @jakwatson54 actually theres another way its allot faster and works better.ima probably make a vid about it

    soon

  • @mvitkun can you just tell me

  • @jakwatson54 sorry I'd prefer not to.....

  • @mvitkun really? why? im just trying to make a montage and it has to be out by tuesday OR I DONT GET PAID (jk) but seriously

  • @jakwatson54 just go to trackmotion and fit the clip to be full size, adjust the width and hight until their is no border.this is easier because vs the presets you dont have to go to each individual clip with the trackmotion if it has the same height and width you just put it into the same video track.

  • @TheDarkJesse sorry, but i'm not sure,i've never used it

  • O no its fine now i figured it out i just desided to mess around with vegas and i figured it out

  • @josephmahon1 did you do it in the same way or....

  • nice man but i got sony vegas pro 9 but is there much of a difference

  • @josephmahon1 dude I have 8 and 9 and I've tried 10 and pan/crop is still the same as far as I can tell.

  • @josephmahon1 but I mean if you think there is a difference I wouldn't really mind redoing it with Sony Vegas 9

  • @mvitkun It would be awesome if you could do Sony Vegas 9.

  • @sota9 I could I mean I have 9, but for this process it's the same in both
