Recording & Mix Engineers referred to the techniques you described as "Solo Isolate" and "Solo Exempt"

What ParallelProcessing described below is "Solo Exempt" and the result is referred to as "Floating"

Green solo button means safe solo.

Safe solo means: Whatever track you solo, the channels which are in “safe solo mode” will not be muted, so you will always here your ducking and send Fx.

@wacclocc If you don't have an external MIDI controller you can either use your QWERTY keyboard as a controller, or just manually sequence it within the program.
