It's not that hard to be an Extra.. you just need an agent and do auditions, because all you do is stand, and 90% of the time the viewer doesn't notice you. It's not like you're gonna be noticed when you go around shops.
I can't stand people who brag about it all over the place, as if people really care.
Get a proper role in a TV series, then come back and brag.
