Saw Nader give a speech in Philly. I got to ask him a question. I asked what he thought of Ron Paul. Nader was rather complimentary towards Dr. Paul, especially concerning his stance on foreign policy.

Why? What's wrong with being socialist? It's his right to be whatever he wants. I don't agree with all the anti-war, non-violence philosophy of Nader or Socialist. But, I agree with forcibly redistributing wealth by military force to undo past unjust wealth distributions.

Well Sorry my main worry is both Economic and Social freedom...I agree Nader supports Social freedom with ALL his heart(Obama and McCain don't) the problem I have with Socialism is it doesn't let me get ahead for working harder. I think we regulations but not socialism...Actually I am more Conservative on the subject but we need resrictions so I do have a Libertarianism view on the Economy...Although I do Consider my self a Libertarian(social) rightist...

Well, sorry - my main worry is whoever's freedom is damaged the worst. Nader brought up the term Social Democracy in his interview on msnbc - He's not a pure socialist - He believes in the market place - he just believes that capitalism should be regulated to prevent social injustice. And I think given the current state of the economy and its cause this is a good idea! This is why I like Nader - because he is looking for balance.

I have been writing to anybody I could find in the Nader organization with no reaction.

I am proposing to ask your supporters to print flyers ( I have starting using my office copier, 10 a day)up to 100. go out the night before the election in groups of two with a bucket of starch mixed with water and a wide brush. paste the flyers on surfaces near the voting stations. the next day, they wont have time to vandalize.

hi Ely, It may be illegal to do so (at least in some states). I think Nader campaign does not want to endorse any act that would blemish their reputation. For instance, I have asked Nader campaign to post Naders interview with C-SPAN and they do not do so due to possible copyright issues. This is just my guess and I am probably wrong as usual. ♫

Nader and Gonzalez are awesome, but a vote for Cynthia McKinney helps to build a sustainable political alternative that will continue to grow. That's one of many reasons why voting Green on Nov. 4th is the best option for progressives. 5% of the vote for the Greens = major party status, federal matching funds, major media attention, and more wins in 2012 (on top of over 200 elected officials currently and more to come soon).

Almost the same corporations control both parties, so a vote for Obama or McCain is a vote for the corporations. By voting for Obama/McCain you're pretty much throwing your vote into the garbage. If you think that Obama will restore civil liberties and follow the law then try to find in the issues on his site what he thinks about the torture or Patriot Act. Oh, he doesn't mention those. What about US Constitution? Again, nothing. Are you really going to trust this man to uphold US Constitution?
