  • The color scheme should also take into account the value of the pieces involved, but maybe that's in the next version of the software.

  • what a video

  • @MrHeroJan Black can respond ...Qxh4, Rxh4 Nf6 and material equality is maintained.

  • at 3:24, can white play Be2? to win a pawn? am i missing something??

  • kasparov is the best

  • Question: after black plays d6, can't white play Bb5+? I don't see any high level players make this move, so is there any way i can take advantage of it when it is played against me?

  • @MilitaryMan006 it's the Rossolimo variation. It's perfectly viable alternative and there's no way for you to refute it. GMs don't play it because there are better, more aggressive continuations. But the move itself is not bad.

  • I love d good work ur doing man!

  • sean, all your videos are awesome, thanx a lot!!

  • I love chess, but I hate watching tactics, I believe you can only learn by doing if anyone who reads this wants to learn to play, learn by playing and seeing the mistakes you make, simple.

  • Just wondering, what do all the colors mean? Is this correct?

    green = well defended

red = undefended and can be taken

yellow = threatened, with limited protection

  • @bf2widowmaker

Just about - green is overdefended, yellow is equally attacked and defended, red is attacked more times than defended. All the best!

  • omg your all vedio of chess, i dont know how to play chess :(

  • To confirm; this was a blitz game. Canstein2 has another blitz game from 1992 between Anand & Kasparov, that time kasparov blundered & Anand Won that game.

  • Amazing game !!

  • Holy, how deep do these book lines go?

  • They vary, some up to 25 or 30 moves with well established openings etc =0)

  • can u help me improve my chess online?

  • The best way to do this is for you to keep watching my vids!

  • r u sure?

i mean im not at kasparov's level yet 2 implement such combinations in2 my game!

y dnt u post videos which deal with evryday chess players!

instruct them on how 2 approach situations!

    wud u do dat?

  • I have done that - look at some of my playlists, I have done fundamental lessons from Capablanca which all players should know, and also some studies on openings and othre bits and bobs you should find helpgul. Let me know how it goes.

  • Good vídeo Sean!!! keep up the excelent work!

  • good game.

  • Hi Sean - another great vid. After Ra3, I would have gladly releived Vishy of his light squared bishop that he didnt seem to be to fond of. I also would have taken it at the second opportunity that followed. Perhaps thats the difference between me and Kasparov. ha. Amazing how much deeper a GM, esp Kasparov , can see into a position. Thanks again.

Go Magnus vs Leko tomorrow at Dortmund.

  • Hi Buddy, thanks. Yes I agree it's incredible how deeply these GM's can think. I remember seeing an interview with Bobby Fischer where he says that he sometimes thought 20 moves ahead in games. It's a funny video actually, you'll find it on here if you search for Bobby Fischer and "Retrobites" together.

Unfortunately Carlsen Leko was a draw! I was planning a video if Magnus won. But he is still leading in the tourney, so all good! =0)

  • Guessing that Re3 is the right move is so much easier when you have somebody whispering behind your shoulder, "Look for a combination right now!"

    Thanks.
