I was at this exact gig last year. First time ever to see him. Wish he would gig more often. This blew me away, the opening chords of this song made the hair stand on the back of my neck, you listen to the records for years but nothing prepares you for the emotions you feel seeing him live. When he walked on stage the place just erupted, like being in the presence of the messiah. Wow, thanks for postin this
I love this song, but how come no one seems to remember that the actual subtitle is 'Four Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen'? Not to nitpick, but it kid of annoys me.
man this blew me away even though i have listened to him on vinyl and cd for over 25 years i have never seen him live ! FUCK ME ,AMAZING! I WILL SEE HIM SOME DAY.
This has just made me shed a tear at my desk! Saw Tom in Edinburgh on the first night and he did this on the second night. Wish I had seen it live but this video is fantastic. Thanks so much for posting it.

the part at 4:00 is amazing. His intonation of walzing matilda always makes my balls tingle. And I was there. 4th row :)

Rod Stewart? LOL! Not in the same league as the great Tom Waits. This is just genius at work. Love it!

Rod Stewart is a rude person. This song is amazing and so is Tom Waits.

Best concert I've ever been to. Nearly fell asleep during this song.

they say chuck norris can run around the world and punch himself in the back of the head, but before he did, tom waits would tackle his ass.

Damn right. There's no one tougher than the MIGHTY Tom Waits..... at least not in my humble opinion.
beelzabubba 2 years ago 2
No no, Tom would just raise his hand to Chuck, and say "enough".
