Yeah, they are both from Saskatchewan. Sarich is from Bladworth/Davidson and Marleau is from Meadow Lake, both really small towns. I'm pretty sure they have played against each other many years ago in Midget AAA, so they have some history.
Marleau is actually from Aneroid, Sask. He grew up on a farm across from the Vanguard hutterite colony, the old huts used to say every time they drove by his place he was out in the yard hammering pucks against the shop doors
