If I was him, after being relieved of MY ship before a deployment, I would retire right there on the spot and milk the hell out of Navy benefits. Since he violated no UCMJ articles, I don't see any reasons why he would retire without an HONORable discharge - seeing as the Navy DID indeed promote him to CO before these videos surfaced (he must have been doing a GREAT job of running the ship and keeping his people happy - which in turn got him fired!)
