  • don't be a hater

  • ha medal of honor too as well 7:50

  • omg battlefield 1942 *salutes this video*

  • i love tanks so much lol

  • The way you kept slowing your oice was waaaaay too patronising, and made this long-winded. Sorry. The video was great, however

  • Thanks!

  • Could you perhaps cite the music used throughout this presentation? Thanks!

  • What is the name of the music @ 1:29?

  • @darkmaster388 the music @ 1:29 is the theame to the PC game Battlefield 1942

  • best school projeckt i ever saw!

    You did well!

  • The first Tanks looked more like Battle Fortresses!

  • Also, during shots of stills there was visible behind them around the edges of the stills footage that could have easily been hidden by the use of "letterboxing" the top and the bottom of the screen. I also loved the coverage of the siege machines at the beginning but the pictures flashed too quickly to give the audience a decent look. I would have added perhaps another two minutes to dwell on those just a bit longer because I found that fascinating.

In all I give this documentary a C+ grade.

  • Not a bad documentary. I like the narrator pretty well and I think with time he'd be really good though the audio recording needed a bit of work because he peaked a few times there. I like the addition of the footage but there were places during the musical part a few minutes in that used WW2 footage that made the idea of dealing specifically with WW1seem a bit disjointed. Also, I would have tried to use period music or close to period rather than music from Pirates of the Caribbean.

  • Tanks are badass!

  • the first tank battle wasnt 3 Mk IV vs 3 A7V,

    it was 3 Mk VI(2 females and 1 male) vs 1 A7V

  • Yeah, tell me somethin' I didn't know

  • Thanks Informitive -

  • the land iornclans looks like a tank i made on spore once

  • Some of the footage doesn't match the timeline. The first tank that saw battle was the Mark 4 tank, NOT the mark 1. Also, The Blitzkreig tactic was developed by Hitler in WW2, and wasn't just for tanks. It used every element of the military, when possible. Infantry, Armor, Aircraft. Ships however were rarely used. I like discovery channel more.

  • not bad, and i see you used the battlefield 1942 theme song :) great game

  • Well your story is right but the most of your video didn´t seem to be WW I.

  • silent voice ha!

  • Whoever did the cutting on this should be cut too - in two.

  • One of the worst videos I've seen about tank history. Talking about first world war tanks and at the same time constantly showing tanks from the second war!

  • It's interesting how things survive. Back in WW1 both the allies and the germans had the exact same problem and came up with two completely different answers. One used an armored fighting vehicle equiped with machine guns and cannons while another used elite squads of soldier armed with their most advanced weapons.

Guess which one we're still using today.

  • i think it is more the fact that the germans put more money and research into ANTI tank weapons without realising they should be building them aswell

  • Good but blury

  • poor quality.he is talking about WW1 and shows WW2 tanks....

no comment of first tower tank - RENAULT.

    poooooooooooooooor video

  • Well done!

  • No Problemo

  • Thanks for a most excellent video

  • Thanks Louis

  • very nicely done ! louis.
