cont. The sewing notions caddy I have made from fabric and lots of stiff (belt type) grosgrain ribbon (and steel wire at the top of the wastebasket) before, but I'm sure I could utilize the woven fabric strips for that too... You can find some such caddies online, I just added 4 pockets and a row of ribbon outside that again to hang scissors etc. from, on the part that hangs down which the bin is attached to also. Pin cushion with rice and batting on top - so it will hold heavy shears ++.

Really nice video! Well, checks have been obsolete here for at least 2 decades now, but I'm sure one can work a bit more on this idea to instead make a wallet, a cell phone pocket, iPod pocket or something like that. And, I make some cute sewing table caddies with pin cushion with strip for sewing needles, lots of pockets for notions and ribbon to hang scissors etc. plus a little waste basket for thread clippings and scraps. cont.
