  • THEY COULD HAVE TOOK TWO UNICORNS AND LEFT BEHIND THE MOTHER FUCKIN PIGS! GOD DAMN PIGS!

  • ya kabamblob got his dumbass served rofl.. u arn't hiphop trust me, don't waste ur time trying to win arguments against it. O HOW can anyone not like this video? timeless classic cartoon common

  • motherfuckin pigs...

  • its all about the meaning, this is the greatest song

  • Killing us, Only people that cant open there eyes that dont care what happens to everyone els as long as they have what they want, AND in the end its not even what they want its what everyone els wants, The same stuff. Greedy fat hungry unloving freaks that are massivly broken, What do you do to things that are broken? That what i want to do to most people. Throw them the fuck out.

  • I think you are all wrong, I think this song is about what is happening today outside, What most people call life goals, get up work sleep get up work sleep, All for what? Stuff simple stuff, And you want more then what you need, FAR more then what you need, he understand taht some things HAVE to be messed up, Cause they are and thats just how it is, but what you people do day to day is making this world even wors then what it is. The basic fact that what you strive for everyday is what is

  • this is a quote from an interview with aesop. "It's not exactly fast food but when people pretend I'm just spewing non-sequiturs and gibberish I cant help but think they simply havent listened and are regurgitating some rumor theyve heard about me.Even if it's not laid out in perfect sentences—is any rap?—youd have to be an idiot to not at least grasp a few things from these songs. Or have had no interest in pulling anything from them in the first place."

  • `even he doesn't understand his lyrics doesn't mean they are void of meaning. Ultimately it doesn't matter what he intended the meaning of his words to be because everyone will interpret differently with every reading. All that matter is what the listener thinks, we listens to Aesop just as he listens to a deeper creative force: even Rock himself is a listener. I would also argue that if it were possible to completely understand something then it isn't art, rather instruction,

  • pigs that argue upon the tube with a better than you, pigs that think their perception is the solo existence, in the eye of god's kazoo, pigs are me and pigs are you, the revelation of this book is that we have no clue

  • and u assumed i was talking to you and only u when is said animal farm (which i cant be bothered to explain on youtbe). there are other humans alive u know.

  • being that you used MY comment to reply; its safe to assume you were talking to me... why would i think otherwise?

  • Comment removed

  • those fuckin pigs give people, like us, swine flu

  • i think he is at least talking a little about cops because at 2:25 does not rhyme the end of that line with pigs but it would rhyme with cops, so instead of saying cops he just said pigs maybe each verse is talking about somethin different

  • GODDAMN PIGS lol one of my favorites

  • fuckin a josire...tell em bitches....them pigs...dirty rotten pigs...loud mouth pigs

  • this liryc is frigging great ...for all you motha..@#$%^& that say that they are hip hop artist on this days :YOU ALL SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKK!!!! this is the real deal right here , and actually today Aesop rock is one of the most important hip hop artist , most on the underground scene , hope he stays like that cause that is what makes him aesop rock , saw him in miami and was like out of this world peace!!!!!!!

  • Def one of my fave tracks on the album, all the animal references are sick!

  • This is real fuckin hip hop I wish mutha fuckas would get they mind right and get they head out of waynes ass

  • You could possibly not be more true than that. I was told lil wayne was "real hip hop" I almost hit someone.

  • why would you ever say punch-drunk pigs. it doesnt get any more random than that.

  • its not random b. just listen to the song and find out what he is talking about.

    one

  • umm why would you say "yah trick yah"?

    pigs = police officers

  • why WOULD you say yah trick yah? lol

thats what i figured it meant cops. but i still dont see what it means. Punch drunk cops?

  • cops that beat the shit out of civilains.

  • "Pigs" isnt just a reference to cops, its a reference to greed/grime.

  • yeah i know that

but i wrote that comment a long time ago.

I just dont understand the punch drunk part. Drunk with greed?

  • Alright, just clarifying. I dont know 'bout that one.

  • in THIS PARTICULAR SONG, its about cops. period.

  • no its rich mo'fuckers that take more than they need, police and the same idea as animal farm (which i cant be bothered to explain on youtbe) by george orwell.

i thought the brilliance in music was that everyone gets someting diffrent out of it but here i am sucked in to telling someone one what a song means fuck it it means nothing i like it, it sounds good ,i understand it

    thats all that matters

    peace

  • Tthe videos that played on the screen behind him at the end of a show i went to; its all imagery dealing with cops and corporations. From the lyrics alone it sounds like crooked cops(but due to my experiences im very biased & your everyday average person might decipher it as something different). its rough seeing you assume i have no clue about orwell & coming to correct me 3mons after my post. But ultimately its aesop rock and his abstract speech could have a plethora of different meanings.

  • aslong as your not saying 'im right and theres no other way to look at it' im willing to take what u say on board...............and its just a show i mean u need more than that........it hard to interprite because u dont know what to take methaphoricaly and what to take litrally dont make me repeat my self by seying that neither of us are going to come up with the right answer other than rock him self and even then i dout he 100% fully understands it.....dont make me post the video to prove it

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not saying I don't believe you but its just weird seeing someone say "dont make me show you proof"... its a threat-based reply and sounds kinda odd. If you have proof of what Ace meant when he wrote it, be it a written interview or a soundbite then why not post it to end any further debate? Its not that serious of an issue. you're not going to hurt mine or anyone else's feelings by proving us wrong. I promise.

  • the only reason i said it like that is coz the last time i said aesop said he dosnt understand some of the stuff he write and it could mean nothing some was really pissed and made me prove it so yh if u want it hear u go its not about this song just overall as well........your good at taking what i say out of context then moulding it to how you want it to sound

  • im not good at it, you're just bad at explaining yourself. i mean you DID kinda show up 3 months after i said something and start a discourse... then saying you have proof and didnt bother posting it... did i really take anything out of context? i mean if im wrong ill be the first to admit. it wouldnt be the 1st time i was wrong about any of the lyrical content coming out of the def jux camp.

  • lol.. his mind is way more intelligent then yours and will ever be.. don't try to analyze what he means. just bob your head and shuttup.

  • "his mind is way more intelligent then yours and will ever be"

Dude im not some 14 year old kid. I only listen to intelligent rap. I listen to artists way more intelligent than aesop. I take that as an insult. "don't try to analyze what he means. just bob your head and shuttup. " If i was going to do ]that i would be listening to lil wayne and not people like him and others. Lyrical analysis is what intelligent rap is all about.

  • nope

  • Hey, could you link me some of these great artists? I'd like to listen to 'em. :]

And no I don't mean this sarcastically I just really would like some great new stuff.

  • @MagicAssasin I actually forgot what I wrote but prince EA is a tight artists that i listen too right now. Just listen to whoever you think is cool; everyone has different preferences

  • @MagicAssasin Atmosphere. Sage Francis. <<My two favorite.

  • yup

  • How can any1 EVER hate on aesop's flow. It's so fuckin nasty, especially on this track.

  • The sad fact is that there will always be more people who eat the shit that is shoveled down their throat than intelligent, articulate and discerning people who appreciate good music like Aesop.

How many fucking times do you have hear "The way shake it got a playa like OHH!" before it just gets stale and old?

  • i dont hardly ever do this, but kabamblob, u are a tard. i bet you like lil wayne, cause to say that anything aseop rock does is whack, has to be from someone who thinks that hip hop stricly pertains to guns crack and hoes. so, you go and continue to purchase more of the same tired ass rappers talkin about the same shit on every track, lol, u the type of dude who prolly went nuts when you heard laffy taffy, all in the club, talkin bout, "yo this the hottest track ever!!!" open ur mind up and go!

  • FINALY SOME ONE PRAISE YOU.....for making its verbaly offical that people are being force fed shit and now asking for it when its not provided......there is no REAL hip hop....hip hop are just words its what u make/interprite of/from it.....but as far as real goes this is fucking up there with all the weather men cage is mad aswell peace.

    TO 'REAL' MUSIC.........

  • TO 'REAL' MUSIC...

  • if you guys want some Aesop Rock - pick/look up Labor Days.

badass lyrics and style. and dope beats with eastern flavors that sift in and out during the middle of the tracks. basically the shit bumps.

  • aesop on the kazoo

  • You have an immense vocabulary with all those shits and fucks. I do admit he does need practice though. He's only been dominating conscious rap for about a decade now. I'm sure you could probably teach him a thing or two. Sounds like you need to search for some videos in the arena of jeezy young joc or asinine mainstream malarchy like that. Thanks for your opinion though.

  • I guess you never heard of Aesop before. His verbal wordplay is phenomenal, and that's more than a lot of mainstream cats can say. No glamor and glitz, just real NY hip-hop.

  • u kno nothing

  • agreed i feel bad for him though hes severely depressed but in most of his songs the lyrics just fade in and you really have to listen for them instead of just enjoying

  • Mainstream hip-hop needs to be taken behind a shed and shot. Guys like kab up here don't realize they're caught up in a corporate marketing scam in which the act has no talent. They just play a safe sound that has been meticulously tested and found by record execs to be readily packaged, sold, and eaten up by people who after years of listening to awful music don't know a good musician or song when they hear it. We don't come to a Jeezy show and slap the dick out of his mouth, leave Aesop alone.

  • hahahah so so true man!.. nicely said.

  • Come on, thumbs up to both of ya, haha.

  • possibly the best, most articulate response to mainstream hip-hop douchebaggery i have ever heard.

  • You obviously lack taste. But hey, maybe someday you'll wise up and understand the knowledge being dropped.

  • @kabamblob you the one that blows and swalow too! keep listening to soulya boy crap and lil wayne with a feature of jay z ...beacuae of people like you hip hop fucking blowwwwwwwws!!

  • @kabamblob Yeah blows blue notes th@ bolw ur fuckin mind apart, then brings it al back around to pull you in for more. Why? whut whut kind of music u like?

  • Snatch 2 Unicorns and fuck the pigs. ^^ Real shit.

  • this song is DOPE. another great aesop track.

  • money hungry pigs

    loud mouth pigs

    makin it to the bigs

    -God Damn

  • Animal Farm in verse?

  • yes

  • no, that song is Animal in Man by Dead Prez

  • Nah B, i was refering to the George Orwell book Animal Farm in which well known regimes such as communism and dictorial, self appointed personalities were depicted as animals like horses, dogs and the dictators were PIGS, look it up

  • nah i mean animal in man is based on animal farm

  • capitalist pigs.

not cop pigs or porky pigs.

proceed to fanboy it up backpackers.

  • exactly.

  • Do you know how the slang for cops became pig? We'll let me let ya in on this particular grain of knowledge. Back in the 60's the gas masks worn by "the pigs" at protest rallies made there faces look like pig snouts. Im also pretty sure they were made of pig skin. And now you know.

  • I dont think this song is about cops... more so about rich jerks.

  • @Autioslave both and politicians

  • Good song. Great verses, hot chorus... Good job wit' the bonus track, Aesop.

  • final words for the finer birds takin notes... i dig a chick in pigtails, that's all folks!

  • I like all his songs.

  • Ha Ha, Bush is the worst pig of em all... so obliviouse 0_q

As for the best song, everyone is gonna like some songs more than others, but most of us here searching for this stuff can all agree that Aes Rizzle is by far one of the better lyricists out there only rivaled by the likes of Sage Francis, Josh Martinez, Slug, Sole and any other artist who decides to actually say something that means something in thier rhymes.

  • Did you even listen to the song? Do you understand what Aes means by "money hungry pig"??? Either get a clue or get your tounge outta the war mongers ass.

  • This entire album is bomb.

  • yeah this is prob my 2nd favorite song on the album, the bluesy guitar and hand clap shit is hella countryish... it's hot shit

  • thanks for posting this...

  • this is by far the best song on the album! This would have been his opening track I bet, but the reason why its the hidden track all boils down to them shit soaked pigs... aes rizzle for the true heads!!

  • hey a true fan would say all the tracks are awesome,i bought his album and found out it was worth every penny

  • wtf are you talking about true fan? You aren't allowed to have a favourite song anymore?

  • hey i'm just being honest the albim was great even though this song was hidden in "coffe" the last track of the album and wudiscple said "the best song by far not that it was his favorite"

  • well, if its the best song on the album surely I am implying that its my favourite...

A true fan wouldnt say the whole album is great... He would be objective enough and honest enough to say there are a few good 'uns and bad 'uns. But at the end of the day its all a matter of opinion.

  • Ace rock wins. Greedy greedy pigs.. lets make a deal.

  • thank you so very much for posting this.

  • well done

  • this rules!

  • yeah, it might just be my favorite track on the new album.

  • me too

  • @thawtful agreed. one of my favourite hip hop tracks EVER. am gonna have to make an edit with just this track with no gap
