  • i wish street fighter had this kind of environment rather than colorful and charming world xD

  • I LOVE STREET FIGHTER. FROM THE BEGINNING UP TO HERE. =))

  • You know....I love jpop and all...and I woulda loved this alot more if it wasnt in SF4 T_T

  • should've kept this theme in Super street fighter IV arcade edition as an opening >.>

  • So like.... at the end Ryu used Metsu Hadoken lik he was trying to kill Ken lol

  • Did anyone else see Akuma Raging Demon the SHIT out of Gouken?

  • who was Guile fighting???

  • @deviljhodemon Abel.

  • @benjaythewhite he looks kinda fat at 0:58

  • @deviljhodemon He's of a stockier build making him look thicker.

  • @benjaythewhite i thought he was someone else because he looked so different at 0:58. thanks anyway. :D

  • Prefer this to Engrish.

  • The japanese song describes more about a fighting spirit. This is the better version by far.

  • I never noticed it but at 0:53, Ryu did a Dan and got teched out.

  • 'the next door' and 'indestructible'

both songs are performed by the same group. they have the same melody and although they have different lyrics, they have the same message: self-belief and inner-strength.

whether they sing in english or japanese, doesn't deny the fact that exile is an amazing group.

    both songs are awesome.

  • @amusementive just wanna make sure i get both songs.so exile seem to be the jap version and indestructible the english version.at least from the songs i listened to.but have to agree both songs are awesome

  • En mi opinión tanto la versión japonesa como la inglesa son buenas porque canta el mismo grupo.

  • in this version theres an extra clip of guiles airfield compare it its not much but its there

  • There is no difference between the english and japanese version, their voices are the same

  • this shit gets me hella hyped.

  • I love japanese version

  • whoa both versions sound so similar, but I already got used and liked the english version more

  • In my Opinion Both song Version kick Ass. LIKE MAJOR ASS

  • this version is good the voice is better but i prefer the english ONLY because i dont know japanese

  • Gay song for an awesome game, WTF????

  • @Daumex Gay comment for an awesome video, WTF????

  • @TriumphantLoser Yours truly is... but you already knew that.

  • @Daumex Surely you're not mistaking for your comment? :P

  • 2:20 is the best part with the music and how ryu put down his fists so slow

  • It seemed that the English version just flowed so much better than this one.

  • 30 people though other wise to PikminExpert's comment to this video.

  • 0:02 do 0:11 Miodzio początek zarąbisty :P

  • 30 Street fighter characters were exiled from this game

  • I like the this one better xD

The made the english one sound kinda... I don't know D:

  • soory but war sounds better for this

  • Has anyone made a Power Rangers AMV with this?

  • I hated this song period. English or Japanese. I prefer the original classic music when play Street Fighter.

  • @AyaKunoiichi yeah i agree with you but i dont capcom will put the old songs in the next street fighter

  • yaaaah Street Fighter !!! :D i hate it... always lost :p ^^

  • japanese version is the best!!

  • @CrowRevolver Japanese Sucks I dont understand it i pefer english

  • @brandont2003 just because i fail to understand it doesnt mean it sucks..

  • @brandont2003 haha, japanese is fine because the game is japanese, but if u hate only for u can´t understand... that´s stupid

  • incredible

  • if this song would be in high school musical would you still love it??? just asking...

  • @Daniel96Z Nope.

  • @Daniel96Z If it was, I would hope that the changed the song for Street Fighter IV

  • @Daniel96Z Hell yeah

  • I LOVE THE JAPANESE VERSION <3

  • the link is dead.........

  • @yinhellsing Worked fine for me

  • You must turn off the sound to stand a chance...

  • lol got goosbumps from that

  • Hmm......

To me, both English and Japanese versions are close to equal. If I had to pick one or the other, I'd have to go with the English version. To me, it IS better if you can understand the lyrics. Sorry, Vash3OO1.

Of course, 90% of the song, almost ANY song, is the music that accompanies it. Since the only difference between both preformentioned versions were the lyrics, it really doesn't matter which song I hear. It's still a great song to a great game.

  • @Week1010101 Gotta agree with ya there. I like the Jap. version, but I just find the English version better to me. Probably because I can understand what's being said.

  • japanese version is alot better

  • @somehornybastard I can kinda see where you are coming from with the new opening being "lazy". But I think quite contrary, it transitioned from scene to scene quite nicely, displaying a bunch of our favorite characters and setting the mood for the game and it's story. Honestly I though the first opening video was great, with that water color painting effect and everything, I can't say that wasn't more intricate and beautiful than the new one.

  • @somehornybastard Lol japanese r&b/hip-hop J-pop? No. I can barely tolerate american versions of it, few can even really sing, and then from Japan? It's a videogame, I don't play a videogame to here grammy winning artists or something, it has to fit the game. I wanted to play Street Fighter. I was not so excited about playing street fighter after hearing this song. Simple as that.

  • the japanese gives it the street fighters feeling

  • Usually I prefer japanesse songs, but in this case, I prefer English version, I don't know why.

  • I HATE SETH!!!!!!

  • This has to be the best game video game intro ever created.

  • @gabokyoEX you know the english version is sing by the same person so stuft

  • @gabokyoEX oh pwned, it is sung by the same person =_=

  • @gabokyoEX

im ashamed to speak the same language as you

  • HELL YEA 0:35 Gouken disciplines Bitchakuma.

  • beast.

  • HOLY SHIT!!!! Japanese version is mad epic!!! I'm glad i heard the english one but i already notice a length difference with the japanese version. English cuts off japanese version continues until the end.

  • exile....so weak

  • This song is obsolete with the new Super Street fighter opening, they defaggotized the opening :D

  • @darknessofkrish Go to Hell, the song ain't gay.

  • @GangWarlord

uber fucking gay they need to take the german x-drugged up justin timberlake bullshit somewhere else, even a good beat in a hip-hop song like Cody's theme and the stuff from 3rd Strike was awesome, but god this I was just like... FUCKING JAPANESE.

Now the new fucking opening and the tracks and compilation, that was a fucking opening.

This opening fucked over my excitement for playing the game.

  • @darknessofkrish dude you need to respect the music that the developers put into the game. even if you don't like it, that's just cold dude. Besides it's not a bad song.

  • @ESSICXHUNTER No... I don't? Anymore than I have to respect the degrees they may have earned through indeed hard work if their game sucks shit or is inbalanced or shitty stereotypes you may find in Japanese game...

Alright it's all taste really, and I guess a hip-hop song fits more into the "Street" thing, I like the song for Cody's part in the new opening. For this goddamned song just killed my initial excitement for playing the game.

New opening with the mix of tracks is totally awesome.

  • :( so bad this song will not be on the SSF4 intro video, it gives something special to the game intro... as far as i know it will be another song, and even without lyrics, just music... ah... it was so cool this intro.

  • can't wait till Marvel vs Capcom 3 is released.

  • J POP FTW!!!!

    Cheyeah Beah.

  • Professionalism !

they just made the english version because they forced them to do

  • exile are pretty cool i like there song lovers again and their version of choo choo train.

  • So much better then the English one!

  • damn good song when in japanese version.

  • Too much english accent. Please sing like Japanese.

  • @zorro1madrid japanese versions are always the best because there so origanal!!!

  • Just gotta love how all of the other fights are dark whereas the one with Chun-Li and Crimson Viper is so pink and pretty and fetish fuel-y.

  • embarrasing. english version so much better

  • @karpfenaut Do you know where I can download the English version?

  • @pyrotek7x7 i have it in perfect quality but i dont know where i think it was limewire but i can also give you if you send me your icq number or mail

  • AKUMA RLZ!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yup its in their THE MONSTER ~SOMEDAY~ single.

  • better than english

  • this is better

  • Is this song in any of Exile's albums?

  • I like it better this way, the English version is annoying.

  • @PikminExpert both english and japanese are both cool dont compare because you are a jap fanboy./

  • @masterkill107 Nah, he has a point in that you can understand the awful lyrics in English. I'm sure they're just as bad in Japanese, but I can't understand, so it's far less embarrassing! It's nothing to do with being wapanese/a japanophile/a weeaboo.

  • @PikminExpert i agree with ya on that part but im also into Japanese Music that is all i ever listened to when i was working over seas with my platoon

  • @PikminExpert It's the same thing.

  • @PikminExpert They are basically the same exact thing. I'm sick of people "preferring" Japanese when they obviously don't even speak the language.

  • @vash1053 The English lyrics sound forced and flow a lot less than the Japanese ones. Just because you don't speak the language doesn't mean others don't.

  • @Azakashi i could say the same vice versa. just because you speak the language doesn't mean others do. like vash1053, most people don't viewing this song don't even speak japanese, yet they always be preferring jap versions. i've seen alot of this shit, even when sometimes the jap version is horrible, they still prefer it, it;s like they have a fetish for jap things.

however, this song sounds exactly the same in jap and eng, there's no diff. same band too, so w;/ever

  • this is probably better than the english because you can't understand those cheesy lyrics

  • So good!!!! it sucks in english!!!

  • i love this song the japanese singer is way better than the english one

  • Its the same group doing both versions -.-.

  • I want to find this in english!

EVERYWHERE has the intro song, but not the FULL version (with the part at 2:20).

    Can anybody help me out?

  • Have you considered that it may not exist in english? that part, like they made the song to be sung in japanese and then they did a short version for the english people

  • @Druscaelan Search "Street Fighter 4 - FULL Opening fanboikilla" in youtube.

Just can't find a download link for it...

  • sounds great but i like better english version. maybe because i do understand what it says.

  • why would i care if you give me thumbs up or down lol.

  • Way better than the american home console edition.

  • sounds better in english....I wanna learn Japanese so much tho DAMN IT!

  • nvm

  • @ jfung22

where did u get this song?

  • Pardon?

  • thank god this song isnt in super, s kill said it best son, "exile has been exiled!!"

  • Love Exile & love to play Street Fighter such an awsome combo ^^

  • wtf why isn't the 3min version of this song not on the soundtrack

  • @m0nkeyr0ach Becuase SF doesn't own the rights to this song. EXILE is a real band and this on a real album. YOu can get this song on one of EXILE's ablums or as single on Itunes/ect.

  • this is cool

  • This is cool

  • The fact that this (the english version at least) is the ONLY song that plays made me hate it, it wouldnt be as bad if they switched versions but it just repeats.

  • @G0DfreyJones "what is it good for? absolutely nothing!"

  • The openning music kicks ass

  • Oh grow up. If you dont like the music then you have a choice of not listening to it and skipping through it. Music is Music may it be a boy band or not. I've never heard of EXILE until ths video game and it sounds fine to me, english and japanese. Be a little more open minded to different things can't no one put you down for at least trying.

Aside from that. The game was awesome. Great comic book feel to it. <3

  • Your telling me to grow up just because I stated my own opinion? What the fuck?! lol!

Just because I don't like this band (this song) doesn't mean i'm not open minded.. what the fuck?! So if you dont like this band it flat out means your closed minded? lmfao! bitch please, you don't even know what you are talking about.

  • lmfao??? whats that :D??

  • Oh and fyi it's the opening theme to the game, and it's the only FUCKING song that plays while your in the main menu. So no I don't have that option. Geez, what idiots.

  • is that much of a deal that they sound like backstreet boys and nsync? all jpop bands sound like any other boyband. They songs goes well with the game. Japanese or English is just the language.

  • 1. I wasn't talking to you. 2. Shut up no one gives a flying fuck what you have to say 3. You do have an option to listen to the song or not. Mute the tv or skip through the opening. 4. If you knew me, you'd know just how open minded I am. I just hate listening to people mindlessly bitching on a site made to share media and video clips. Blogs sweetie. You want to rant and bitch about something and get your opinion out there. Blog.

  • I'm not siding with anyone here nor do I mean to nitpick but just so you know, you seem to be ignoring your third point by "mindlessly bitching" as well.

  • @verhallt (b'-')b thanks captain, my life is now complete and fulfilled with that having been pointed out to me. Though then again, its not really bitching as much as me being a total smart ass.

  • Theres your FYI sweetie pie, take it and stick it. Like it. Love it. Move on.

  • lol point taken

  • I hated this song originally...but i finally found the original japanese version...and it is awesome and way better than the translated version

  • Its better when you can't understand the lyrics.

  • @Vash3OO1 I agree, you get a better feeling for the song because your not focused with the lyrics for the most part

  • lol I thought it was Exile singing this but honestly didn't believe it until today xD. Anyways nice song, both eng and jap.

  • I definitely prefer the Japanese version of the song... Something about the English one just didn't fly for me. Beautiful animation though.

    Thanks for posting.

  • i love this intro, it oozes the corny style we know and love from street fighter xD

  • pretty nice intro

Street fighter and tekken are the kings of martials arts video games.

They got some nifty intro videos.

  • What you mean to say is:

"That was a pretty nice intro."

You need a verb or else it's a sentence fragment.

"The Street Fighter series and the Tekken series are video game kings of martial arts."

Some spelling errors with capitals. The word "kings" you put in the sentence has to be connected with "video games" since that is the second (or I guess third) main subject.

"They have some nifty video intros."

"have" is better to use than "got". Swapping the last two words fits better that way.

  • ur a precise dick rnt u

  • What you meant to say was:

    "You're a analytical dick aren't you?"

Precise isn't the best adjective for that sentence. Also you always start off with a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence as well as a period for the end of one. Lots of grammar problems with spelling and conjugations of words.

  • zapikachu xD

    awesome

  • Yes.

  • What you meant to say was:

"You're an analytical dick, aren't you?" The word "an" is nearly always used instead of indefinite article "a" when the succeeding noun starts with a vowel. Since I believe you are not one to be caught by simple typos, you likely did not know any better.

    :)

  • I forgot to type the "n". I commend you for the correction as I have overlooked it inexcusably. Also for your last sentence:

"Since I believe you are not one to be caught by simple typos, you likely did not know any better."

You should have put "...it is likely that you did not know better." Using the word "any" brings about an uncertain amount of measurement that is trying to describe the word "better" which can also be used as an adjective.

  • Comment removed

  • so, that was an incomplete sentence. just sayin' bro.

  • Chinese is calligraphy, so the characters are based off of ancient interpretations of objects through drawing. Like the word turtle (龜), it looks like a turtle with a head, two hands, a tiny shell and a tail. This "drawing" so to speak "represents" the creature turtle and it only represents turtle. Unlike other languages where one word can have multiple uses or meaning, one Chinese word has only one definition. It's not hard to learn, but just millions of characters to memorize :(

  • Much of what you said is incorrect.

First of "Chinese is calligraphy" simply makes no sense, as calligraphy translates to "writing beautifully".

Secondly, what you are describing are pictograms, but unlike what you're implying, not all Chinese characters are pictograms. Only an estimated 4% are.

Finally, a character can have several meanings, depending on context and if it is used in a compound or on its own, but will generally represent a specific idea or concept.

  • 兄弟,你要是老外的话我还能理解。你若是老中,还敢给我写这种荒谬的东西,不丢亚洲人脸啊?

  • The one who wrote absurd things was you, I was merely trying to correct it so other people didn't get misconceptions about the language.

P.S. Speaking a language doesn't make one an expert of it, which you have clearly proven. So chillax with the arrogance just because I know a little more about Chinese written history and proper English than you.

  • Very nice.

  • cant beat cammy :P

  • My fave char is Sagat! :)

  • blanka's name is jimmy!

  • charlie or nash = Blanka...pif...why the brazilian is the monster?? pif²

  • the anime is great and the song fantastic

  • nice song

  • For those complaining about the music, i have found the ultimate solution!! Do as i do turn down the bgm then alt tab over and search whomever you are fighting's og theme lol works just fine for me lol plus it's fun to hear old school bgms while playing sf4 heh.

  • There's nothing "authentic" about, say, Cammy speaking Japanese instead of English, is there?

There's no "original" set of voices to this game; it was always planned as an international release.

  • @Irrenmann Not True, it was decided after it's first release by Capcom developers for it to go International. It was never originally planned for it to go international. It's initial release was mainly Asia. Originally, North America was gonna be recieving the game at a later date DEPENDING on the sales of Japan. So YES there was an "original" set of voices to this game. So you're wrong. But what do I care, I'm just trolling... u_u

  • Seth Killian says otherwise.

  • @Irrenmann Wow, Irrenmann = easy catch.

  • Dude, you're so wrong it's not even funny. Street Fighter has consistently outsold in raw numbers in the USA vs Japan. The domestic product market in the US may not equal japan in ratio, but we simply have more buyers, a higher consumer base. A game of this profile could never, ever, EVER be a Japan only product. You're high.

  • @strikerk Wow Striker = Reeled in for free. Baited so bad.

  • hardcore doesnt fit
