  • Hey from UG! I absolutely love this. Subscribed!

  • Cool. Can you give me some background info. How'd you make the beat/backing track? What key is this all in? Are you using major/minor scale? I'm just learning theory and am trying to ID song's key and scales used.

  • @countrygentleman10 Okay thats some quiestions ;) I will try my best to answer. First I created the drumms using a drumloop in reason and Ez Drummer, Then I recorded the clean guitars with guitar rig 4, then i thought it sounded quite dry so i added the reverse reverd guitar you can hear that sounds like a wind back and fourth, after that i started to lay down the lead guitar parts also using guitar rig 4 one cleaner and one more distorted one, I wrote the song in D minor, it uses 3 different..

  • @countrygentleman10 Chord progressions, then I try to focus on hitting the notes within the chords all the time rather than the D minor scale exept for when Im "shredding" which I do scaleoar or what I can call it ;) When I thought of the song as one big picture I wanted to make it more interesting by not playing fast all the time, not using bends all the time but thinkin about contrast between different elements of expression :) hope i helped you a little at least :)
