  • The music in MM2 for gameboy, if you listen closely, resembles music from music in Megaman 2 and 3 on the NES. Magnetman's music in MM2 for gameboy is actually one of the tracks that most closely resembles the original music. Check it out!

  • Sounds like Hardman from NES....

  • hehehe this guy is a mormon's worst nightmare

  • this deserves more views, much more...

  • This is one of my favorite music from Rockman World 2 in addition to Airman's Stage and Crashman's Stage.

  • *eyes watering* Favorite Megaman game, favorite soundtrack, thank you so much for making this... This was the first time I ever played megaman at age 4. >W<

  • Make the final stage of Megaman 2 Game Boy!

    Yeah!

    Awesome!

  • Oh wow, this does sound very similar to the original

  • Thumbs up if you enjoyed gameboy megaman more than nes

  • @stridren I don't know about that, but I did enjoy RMW2 more than MM2 for NES.

  • Whenever I think of Megaman music, this is the first song that comes to my head.

  • Wan't Magnetman in Megaman 3?

  • @SugarNinja95 Yes, and he was also in Mega Man II.

Or Rockman World 2, whatever you prefer.

  • Oh, you DID remake this one! XD

It's a shame that Inafune hated this game so much, I personally loved it, but then again I'm a horrendously avid Mega Man fan @_@

  • Thanks to you, the otherwise ear-bleeding soundtrack in Mega Man World II is now at least palatable to the ears. However, the base soundtrack still greatly pales in comparison to the NES originals, which I believe they remixed in the other Mega Man World games.

  • @SoftBank47 It was better than many tunes from MM4-6

  • I thought of this song today.

  • At the start sounds like Drill Man

  • megaman 2 gb rox

    great game

    awesome music

  • @Utubesuxmycock Yes.

  • Where did Inafune state that he hated MM2 GB?

I wouldn't be surprised, as pretty much everyone else does too, but it would be nice to have a source.

  • It's all there in the Mega Man Official Complete Works art book. Inafune says that Capcom hired a different company to do Mega Man II, and that the game turned out to be a nightmare. He even goes as far as apologizing to the fans.

  • @bsolmaz13 Well, even Inafune can be a complete dumbass sometimes. MM2 GB is an excellent game. I play through it fairly often. I think it's my most-played Gameboy game, behind SML2.

  • @bsolmaz13 Damn I didn't think it was THAT bad. There was plenty of good that came out of it for all the complete shit (of which there was plenty, believe me). The music was well-composed, just poorly executed with those shit instruments.

  • @bsolmaz13 To me it has the best soundtrack in the whole series including the X-series, gba games etc. The game itself I have no idea how he could say such a thing, but I guess the game is so old now that few people remember it, obscurity is a sad thing.

  • @bsolmaz13

    damn that's hilarious

  • Better than comparable remixes elsewhere in Youtube. This one sounds much more clear.

  • great work again! do you make the rockman world V stardroid songs too? because I would totally freak out if you would :3

anyway I like what I hear so far~ *subscribe*

  • Well, right now I'm hesitating between doing all of the Mega Man II songs or just the good ones. But after that I will definitely be remaking the stardroids :)

  • yay I'm looking forward to hear that :3

  • You should also remake the songs that were used as the basis for the Mega Man 10 special stages. The Wily base from MMI GB. Punk's intro from MMIII GB. Ballade's battle theme from MMIV GB.

But hey, do what you want. You're the one with the skills, not I. :P

  • Actually, I was planning to do that very thing after the stardroids. Except I'm gonna do the theme of Quint as well. Some people say that he's not actually a Mega Man Killer. I disagree. They just say that because Quint is kind of silly. It's a shame Capcom thinks the same and didn't include him in MM10 with the other Killers.

  • First of all, Inafune hates MMII GB's existence. You know, the guy behind Mega Man in general.

Second of all, Quint ISN'T a killer. He doesn't have the RKN designation like the three killers do. He fills the role in MMII GB, but he's technically not a killer.

  • I know Inafune hates this game, a lot of people do. But that doesn't take away the fact that Quint fills the part of the Mega Man Killer in this game. You can shun the game and pretend it's not there, but it's still there. And if Quint is not a Killer, then why does he show up in Mega Man V along with other Mega Man Killers.

And the reason to why he doesn't have a Wily number is because he wasn't built by Wily. He's just a reprogrammed Mega Man from the future. No Wily number, still a Killer.

  • @bsolmaz13

I said he's a killer in that sense. Just that he's not a killer in the sense that he doesn't have the RKN designation. That's what I mean. :P

  • Jupiter's stage for the win

  • Sounds almost like the original.

  • I gotta say, I like this idea. These songs, while not as good as the NES versions, sound a lot better redone like this.

  • Acaba Megaman ZX'in 'Misty Rain' sarkisini 8-bit yapabilirmisin.

  • Ilerde belki ZX'e geçerimde, şu anda sadece GameBoy şarkıları yapıyorum.

  • Dude, you're a genius with 8-bit music like kevvviiinnn!
