No, you can NOT totally submerge the stock SUMMIT. Mine has been upgraded with Kershaw Designs 700 HO motors which are waterproof. The original Titan 775 motor is NOT. If you do this with a stock SUMMIT you will ruin the motor.

hey jetlag my emaxx has a major problem. its been sitting since march. i put the 700s in it and its been a major money pit since then. lately it will go about 2 feet andd just start studdering really bad and then after about 2 minuites it just shuts off. i looked over it and thought it was the reciever box so i changed it but it didnt fix it. i noticed all the motor capacitors broke.is that the problem i havnt changed them yet

That's exactly what happened in fact. If you watch the last time I touched the water you can see it dripping off the bottom of the heli. It got in the ESC (which is close to the bottom) and shorted it out as I tried to rise. When it fell it was completely dead stick. :)

It's a pro line body made for HPI. But you can easily trim it a bit and cut new holes for the shock tower standoffs and you're good to go. You can get it from pro-lines website, or hundreds of hobby stores on the web.

Go read a few reviews and decide for yourself... it all depends if you want it bad enough or not. I love mine, and I know a lot of guys that love theirs, but I have have heard other guys that didn't like it all that much. It's a very personal decision. There is no way I can tell you if you would like it or not.

electric motors run backwards and forwards. The ESC is what controls whether you have reverse or not. And yes they can run backwards. congrats on the RC Hero! YOu will love it. :)
