the only reason i dont use dark eldar is cause they are shit, they look cool when painted properly though.

i have necrons instead and make them as evil as possible by replacing the monolith criystal with a glowing skull, swaping the resurection orb of the lord with the crippled body of an eldar and the destroyers spare arm is holding some other bitch ass fool who disrespected me.

cant wait for new dark eldar codex so i can do the same with them.

but when the update for them comes out this year (which it will, i got told by a guy who works for gw) i think dark eldar may become alot more popular,

@shawty390 The reason why some of them may look shiny or polished is because I was applying 'ard coat finish to some of my earlier models. I stopped after a while realizing it actually looked better without it.

not really because they suck. Dark eldar are the hardest race to play, you need to b cunning and use speed! if you get the han of them there a really good force to play.

Dark eldar are the one of the most powerful armies in the entire game and the hardest army to play is any of the inquistion.

So not true. The meaning of the dark eldar is to swoop in take prisoners and leave. Technically this isn't an army set to achieve victory, but easily (even with an old codex) if played right can put quite a dent if not destroy any race. Power to the Dark Eldar

you obviously have never played aganist a good dark eldar player( just because he is power gaming doesn't mean he is good) the saves mean nothing. My dark eldar army would wreak havoc on any eldar army. Rush and crush!

i personally think its insane that the entire dark eldar army does not have the Night Fighters rule or at least Acute Senses. night fighters fits their background more, though.

i wouldn't mind some kind of rule to reflect their 'soul drinking' either...perhaps HQ units slaying one or more models in close combat or near a casualty of any kind would gain fear or terror for the rest of the battle. optionally, perhaps they could regain wounds?

I agree 100%. However the good news is that I think GW is releasing a new line (and codex) real soon, and we may see some of those desperatly needed changes.

you're slapping far too much paint on those miniatures too dude, you're impairing the important detail before your inks can sink into the grooves to get an effective contrast with the dry brushing
