  • THE BEST EDIT EVER! I LOVE WHEN HE GETS UP FROM THE PIANO...

    THANK YOU & THUMBS UP!

  • I watched him every week with my parents and music teacher who used to have spasms as he changed the classics. He would go to the piano and play the missing parts - sometimes during the broadcast, ugh. Got to see him once at the defunct Westchester Premier Theater. So many wonderful memories.

  • wow

  • no mistake if i've said liberchacovscy

  • no mistake if i've said

  • LiberaceChaycovsky

  • I found this video to be very touching. I have always loved Liberace's music and style, and am so sorry he's gone. But, this video, with this particular song, shows the immense joy he had while giving immense joy to others.

  • beautiful..thank you!!!!!!!!!!

  • I played this for the first time on Angel Radio 101.1FM today and it made shivers run up and down my spine. It's fantastic! What a pianist and showman he was. Sadly missed.

  • @nuthouseidiot I enjoyed your wonderful comments on Liberace. I've been a fan for a lot of years and always was in awe of his talent at the keyboard and his great personality. This song also gives me chills when I hear it. I miss him so much and thanks to YouTube we can enjoy his remarkable talents for years to come.

  • Eccellente esecuzione...

    Grazie

  • Where is he now?

    .

Probably accompanying Michael Jackson dancing and Princess Diana in the audience with Phillys Diller.

    .

    Cheers.

    from,

    del-boy.

  • Thank you for making these great playlists, my parents loved the beautiful music that Liberace and others played, plus the big bands.

I am starting to play piano again and my kids have just started lessons. I am playing your playlists all day! So lucky to have them at my fingertips, my dad would be very pleased I can teach my kids about these great artists now even though we did not get to keep his old records!

  • I am totally thrilled that somebody actually plays the lists besides me. They never get old.

  • Astounding! I love this song because it's my favourite singer's theme song: the one and only Tony Bennett. Played on the piano like this is a joy. Thanls for uploading it pianoplaylist

  • Hello pianoplaylist,,,,God, how I love this song by Liberace. Can never get enough of it and listen to it every night. What a tremendous talent he was and I miss him. Thank you again including this great song by the best pianist of all time.

  • I see I spelled the word bass wrong in my comments (above). I'm listening as I write this and what a superb crystal-clear sound he has on those treble notes. God, he was so wonderful. I wish we could have him back with us for people like yourself and so many others who never had the chance to see him 'live'.

  • Hello again...I'm enjoying this audio so much and I play it every day. Wouldn't it have been great if they could have put a small camera at the end of the keyboard (like they have now), and capture his fabulous piano playing? I especially love that part of the song when he plays those base chords with one finger. I can still picture his hands doing this, with the cross-over position. Such remarkable talent, never to be forgotten.

  • I know I'm crazy, but I do too. I listen to him every day. His music gives me chills and shivers and sometimes it's so beautiful I tear up. Call me stupid or silly. There are few things that sound so beautiful they evoke watery eyes. But he could play like none other. I wish I had live memories of him instead of 4 inch vids.

  • ...and your comments made my day.

  • What an absolutely beautiful arrangement of '....San Francisco" by Liberace. It actually gives me the chills hearing him play this selection as I have not heard it for some time. I'm a huge Liberace fan and knew him personally over the years. He was just about the kindest and most sincere person you would even want to meet. Thank God for all these wonderful videos on YouTube.

  • I agree with what you said: Thank God for all these wonderful videos on YouTube. I didn't know who he was until I found him on Youtube, which is sad considering he was alive until I was 22 and I would have had the chance to see his TV appearances and perhaps live in Vegas as a young adult. I believe he's the best pianist who ever lived.

  • @pianoplaylist ,,,Hello pianoplaylist...Well, I just wanted to say that I am still enjoying this wonderful selection by Liberace and listen to it each and every day....Incidentally, would you be interested in seeing a couple photos I have with Liberace? I could email them to you, if you have an email address....just thought I'd ask...

  • Who really played this song?

  • This is really him playing, but I loaded it from a cd into Windows Movie Maker and then added edited video clips from other songs where he happens to smile at the camera. It's him playing.

  • I have other pieces I would like to upload, but YT recognizes the audio and rejects it because Universal Music Group owns it. So YT uploads my stupid little rinky dink video I make and mutes the audio--oh brother.

  • Good Job!!!!!! Keep doing it!!!!!!!!

  • Saw Liberace in TO back in the Late 70's he was amazing! He was my great grandmother's favourite - that's how I got to like him. Too bad he died of Aids - he was a queer as a 3 dollar bill!

  • I know he was. And he was used as a pioneer to bring it to public acceptancy long before its time. I love to hear him, and as a player of 30 years I love to watch his fingers on the ivories. Other than that, I can't stand to watch him. Pretty sad comment considering I have 100's of his videos on my page and dozen of his cd's on my desk. To me he is the best piano player who ever lived. Thanks for chiming in. Did you see my religious playlist? Where is TO?

  • Thank you for your comments - I have ALWAYS been crazy about the Piano too. YES, Liberace was great .. but Dino I believe is just as great. I love Dino, plus he is a Christian! Liberace was also a great showman & he had a wonderful sense of humour! TO is Toronto where I was born/raised. I have been to Spain & loved Torromolinis & Malaga! God Bless you!! May I ask if you are a Christian?

  • I've been in church all my life and had my first experience with God when I was about 8. We were praying around a campfire and God kind of swept me away into a state of praise and I entered into a realm where I nearly lost awareness of what and who were around me. I've done my best to live for the Lord for my 46 years, always aware that the commitment needs to be renewed daily. I like Dino but I like to hear him play with no other instruments.

  • I agree with pianoplaylist. There is nothing more satisfying than making music with the satisfaction of knowing your music is pleasing to the ear. Liberace was one of a kind. I have never in my life seen anyone else play with his skill. There are others (like Errol Garner or Art Tatum) with extraordinary skill, but it is a different skill. Jon England is extremely skillful, and although their chandeliers and candelabras compare, their playing styles do not.
