I find it funny that you have to pay for Xbox live, and they're putting adverts into it as well. Not to mention almost all 360 exclusives are children's kinect games, and of course the failure rate. The PS3 isn't perfect either, but at least the PSN is free to use and free of adverts.

@2WIRE311 crysis will be a piss in the ocean compared to this for system requirements. I bought my computer in 2005, have not upgraded since and I can run crysis on highest settings no problem, but a game like gta 4 lags.

I played both WoW and ffxi and while i think the gameplay was a lot better in WoW the player community utterly stank so i ended up playing 1-80 without saying a word to anyone, which imo defeats the purpose of an mmorpg
I'm concerned with the ps3 release. It's probably going to be inferior to the pc version...but I can't even run the game on the PC because of its high specs. It makes me wonder how this game is gonna appeal to the masses for the PC. Most will probably have to wait for the ps3 release.
damn Im not a big fan of FF and its turnbased but this looks so badass I like how it is more fantasy than the futuristic that the newer ones had and the sea battle looks sick that serpent is awesome I want to see a sailing feature where you fight sea monsters that will make my year. I love chocobo boots too
@GenericUsername320 yes it is. You're playing on an entirely different server than the ps3's. It's 12 or 13 dollars per month which I don't think is really all that expensive. As long as I can spend a good amount of hours in this game, then it's worth paying monthly.

@WolfZeroBlade advanced controlls? the ps3 and and xbox 360 controllers are pretty much the same. Only difference is the shape, and the names of the buttons.

The Yellow Light of Death will only occur if the user is turning off their Ps3 improperly, over and over again, by the switch in the back. The Xbox may have had better games 2 years ago, but now the Ps3 has tons of it's own great exlusives.

at last a good game for the ps3 is soon coming out. hope that it will keep me busy for some time. Final fantasy series is truly the best of the best. The best and most successful game at least for me since now has been FFX. It has an amazing and wonderful storyline, apart from good graphics(for the ps2) and outstanding gameplay. Lets hope this one does wonders too!!!!

@2WIRE311 crysis will be a piss in the ocean compared to this for system requirements. I bought my computer in 2005, have not upgraded since and I can run crysis on highest settings no problem, but a game like gta 4 lags.

i'm a fanboy of qaulity. It's not hard to be a fanboy of ps3. Its got everything I want in one package with nothing extra. It has all of the top of the line technologies that make it next generation. Facts make a game system, not opinion

I played both WoW and ffxi and while i think the gameplay was a lot better in WoW the player community utterly stank so i ended up playing 1-80 without saying a word to anyone, which imo defeats the purpose of an mmorpg

I'm concerned with the ps3 release. It's probably going to be inferior to the pc version...but I can't even run the game on the PC because of its high specs. It makes me wonder how this game is gonna appeal to the masses for the PC. Most will probably have to wait for the ps3 release.

damn Im not a big fan of FF and its turnbased but this looks so badass I like how it is more fantasy than the futuristic that the newer ones had and the sea battle looks sick that serpent is awesome I want to see a sailing feature where you fight sea monsters that will make my year. I love chocobo boots too

@GenericUsername320 yes it is. You're playing on an entirely different server than the ps3's. It's 12 or 13 dollars per month which I don't think is really all that expensive. As long as I can spend a good amount of hours in this game, then it's worth paying monthly.

@n00bie37 well the new knights of the old republic game has yet to prove it will be balanced, as its likely everyone is just going to be Jedi or Sith and ignore all the other classes, so it may be fundamentally flawed. The FFxiv game looks brilliant graphics and storyline wise. I'd go with final :P

ffxiv looks like shit. looks very arcadish. battle system is terrible. graphics are slightly better. go look at the gameplay footage of people playing the beta's fkin sad. ffxi still better.

You know they had to remove almost 50% of content as well as cities from ff13 because of the limitations on both the xbox console as well as their dvds

@Guitarsownall I think that Xbox 360's are much better, but when it comes to repairs and stuff the PS3 wins by far.
The only reason why i like 360's is cause of the advanced controlls, then again PS3 has free internet.

I know its true that the xbox 360 is better on not braking and more ppl play it bcuz all my friends that have both consoles play they're Xbox 360 more, and my two other friends that had a PS3, they already broke from the yellow screen thing and my Xbox 360 i working perfectly fine. Then the other thing Xbox 360 wins at is all the games it has, while PS3 has the same as Xbox and a few of there own games.

@Guitarsownall Get your facts right, kid. The Xbox has a 50% fail right, while the Ps3 sits at a 10% fail rate. The Yellow Light of Death will only occur if the user is turning off their Ps3 improperly, over and over again, by the switch in the back. The Xbox may have had better games 2 years ago, but now the Ps3 has tons of it's own great exlusives.

@Brandon101x actually ps3s do tend to have problems because it is blu ray...it's more easily to break not the disks but the reader, and the more gb the more likely you'll get the "yellow blinking light of doom"...but..ps3 all the way.. :D I'm not gonna let my brother use mine anymore cuz he keeps on breaking it...I don't know how...>.> just saying ps3s break way to easily.. T^T oh yeah...I got those 2 information thingys from a pro who fixed my ps3 before..lol

I've had my PS3 since early last year, and It's been fine, except for the giant thunderstorm that came and distorted the picture of my PS3. Fortunately, I was able to get my PS3 repaired for free by Sony. Took a week or so, and I got my Warranty increased as a bonus. Just asking, BTW.

@crimsonadamantsabre pssh...I only have one & Im not gonna buy a new one if it breaks I had mine since 2-3 years ago? it only broke twice & the first time it broke was last year when I was playing & then a black out happened lights went on & off 3 times when it came back on I tried to turn it on & I almost cried lol the second time which is now whenever I want to stop the game Im playing I press the ps button & it just freezes, thanks to my brother who doesn't know how to turn it off

@DevilsSpawn23 Oh no, not a Sony Store. I sent my PS3 to Sony and they fixed it up, free of charge! I hope you like FF13......it's gotten some bad reviews from most people I hear, but it seems to look great! Right now, I'm focused on Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2, White Knight Chronicles, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, and a few others.

at last a good game for the ps3 is soon coming out. hope that it will keep me busy for some time. Final fantasy series is truly the best of the best. The best and most successful game at least for me since now has been FFX. It has an amazing and wonderful storyline, apart from good graphics(for the ps2) and outstanding gameplay. Lets hope this one does wonders too!!!!

Wonderful game, I am Alpha and Beta testing it. Worst thing is... they've ruined Tarutaru =( instead of furry teddybears... they are now like Children.... which is weird =( and not right. Tarutaru shoud have NO KNEES!! Its better when its dwarves in suits, not children. Before, taru could be adult, now they aren't.
