  • I understand how the alternator works. What I'm saying is even at it's normal output(every day driving), the alternator is usually producing more than enough power to run all the lights. Unless you're running Air Conditioning, the engine rarely will ever have to work harder. then it already is at normal driving speeds. Thats why car companies have not cared. The cost vs savings issue has to be justified.

  • This video is very misleading. You save 65% of the energy being produced by THE CAR'S ALTERNATOR......but you're not saving 65% of your fuel costs. The electricity produced by the car, no matter how efficient can't be used anywhere else but the car. So no matter how efficient the lights are...........it's irrelevant. Only the amount of gasoline saved matters and I imagine it's very very little. Still any savings is ok......just don't deceive people because you sell a product.

  • @MstrKey So what is used to make the alternator create that electricity? The turning of the engine. The higher the demand on the alternator causes it to be harder to turn, so the engine has to work harder to turn the alternator. Demanding less power from the alternator means less demand on the engine to turn the alternator, thus saving fuel. You are not saving 65% fuel, there is no claim on that. However, less power does give fuel savings, even a little is better than nothing.

  • @cvbnm2007 pfft..the saudis have a 100% solar plane they ripped the vid down as fast as they put it up, google it

  • LED's and HID's are the way to go. LED's last forever and take 80% less energy. HID's consume only 35 watts compared to a traditional halogen bulb that consumes 55 watts to operate.

  • Is it possible to purchase OSRAM lighting as replacement for the OEM bulbs in older cars? Your website doesn't seem to want to tell me how or where I might be able to purchase OSRAM products.
