  • Do u know that baking powder is not good for health, I always try to avoid b/powder, cooking soda and Msg. I have done Jalebi without B/P and Vahchef looks like an experienced person, so it is good u follow his recipe

  • CURD is YOGURT,I think he has used I cup of YOGURT. for sugar syrup you need 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water ,cook until it is medium syrup not too light , not too thick like honey.should be warm.Dip the Jelebi into the warm syrup,remove the Jelebi right away and serve it on a plate.

  • I think curd is what you get when you heat up a yoghurt and then press out the liquid out of the substance. It reminds "paneer" but paneer is lill bit harder than the curd, moreover, the curd is when you heat up yoghurt gently, not allowing to overheat it or boil, but with paneer you boil the yoghurt.

    but if you go to an indian supermarket its will be spelt maida on the package

    you can find it in normal supermarkets also, depending on where you live

  • out of all the indian sweets this is my favorite. im from brooklyn. so when i buy them they have more syurp and are a dark yellow and orange. when you bite into them the syurp just comes right out. i always want to know how to make it. i am going to try it out. wish mw luck.
