he actually came out with a pedal that you can do those delays with. it also has a nice drive simulation of his guitar's sound, but of course you can never beat the real thing. if you just buy a standard delay pedal you can always just tinker around with the intervals between the delays. he's smart enough to have it go through 2 or 3 amps so each echoing note comes out of one, then the other, than the other. crazyy!!
