  • great lesson

  • Sounds great - with my limited knowledge managed to work it out until the last run starting at around 4:06 - any chance of any help?

    Kind regards, Andy

  • @andygelband At 4:06in the tune there is a 1,6,2,5 turnaround.

I am using standard fingering here to play the roots, usually I would us my thumb.

    I am playing 13th chords on 1,(A) and 2,(B).

I am using minor 7ths or sometimes augmented 9th chords on 6,(F#) and 5,(D).

I am going to the root from a half step above the target bass note.

    So, A F# B D becomes A, GF#, CB,FE.

    Hope that helps.

  • Thank you so much - I'll try and work this out but when I use online chord finders they offer so many versions of 13th and aug 9 chords that I'm not sure which to use - I know it's really cheeky but any chance of detailing the 4 chords, for example A maj at the 5th fret would be 5,7,7,6,5,5. Thanks, Andy

  • Great lesson
