I think there were plans to make Warzone 2125, but obviously they never materialised. Not surprised to hear Nexus chuckle at the end though, I imagine he was smart enough to make back-ups of himself being the crafty bastard he is. :)
@23DEATHNUMBER Nexus and Shodan are like Megabyte and Hexidecimal from reboot. Though... I think Hexidecimal would devour Shodan and make Shodans superiority complex one of her mask.
@shadowlarkmoon Hehe, me imagines if Shodan & Nexus met and had a offspring... of course in real deal they'd just fight each other... I need to look into this "reboot" tho...
@Blubje92 Pretty hard when actual developer is gone, rights for title may still be with Eidos not sure but agreed, would be awesome as long as its not EA doing it (thinks C&C4 Disaster)
@apollox82 God damn, We could have had a proper, lasting and absolutely epic RTS if those high ranking EA bastards could have just left C&C alone and kept the budget flowing.. >_>
@apollox82 nope. all rights for the game were handed over to a independent open source developer, call pumpkin2. the game is open source now, so unless some big name publisher takes on the games rights again they wont be another warzone.
@SCARREDMIND Hehe modded it a little in past...i had C&C like twin barrel mammoth tanks to play with added LOL... but sadly I'm not very 3D skilled for it but sure my sequel storyline would see Nexus return and poor Project guys do find that it was only a temporary win...
Looool, so it is not sure that was Nexus' defeated or wasn't. They probably made so strange ending because they'd like to make Warzone free for making for it freaky sequels :)
This game is rememoring me a lot of souvenirs ...
(BTW i have the french version , at the end , Nexus's laugh was 10 times scarier than this D: )

Rights for the title were released when the game was open-sourced. Any fan can make a sequel now.
